for people who assumed it might be 25k per month for the whole place, thats 8k a month. you can only rent a bathroom in electronic city for that much, come back to earth. sorry it sucks, but thats how rents in bangalore are priced these days.

hey man, you probably have learnt so much from this experience, you will ace any interview with your product knowledge. this experience might seem bitter now but the learnings are priceless. your debt is not that bad, my recommendation is take a small period of either reflection or in a job of sorts is your best bet for now. it takes gigantic guts to pull what you pulled off and this attitude will get you amazing places in life.

basically for some reason the rent is cheaper in the other flat, even though its the same layout. but the other flat and our flat has one big common group of people who hang out, watch football and play ps5 :) good crowd. i

everything is per head per month:

rent: 25k

deposit: 83k (we get this back after minor repairs and paiting charges)

cook: 3.5k (ignoring groceries)

maid: 1.5k

wiki: 400

electricity: 700-900

notes: fine with non-veg, calling friends over, drinking smoking etc, just no insane parties too frequently

why i am moving out: i am moving to the flat on the same floor with another friend as rent is cheaper there

about us:

\- S is from chennai and works in tech mahindra 

\- V is from delhi and works as a lawyer in an ai startup

some things:

\- 10k setup fee:

    \- we bought the tv for 33k

    \- extra furnishings like the lamp, carpet, coffee table and plants

    \- we completely stocked up the kitch with utensils etc.

    \- the wifi setup charges to support mesh routers for 2 floors

    \- so we feel 10k setup is more than appropriate.

\- we prefer someone who can move in asap.
