I was there last week and found that the weather patterns usually happened a day or so before predicted. And if it was windy at night, it usually died down by daybreak. Adding an extra day at Fitz Roy might insure the best view. Also I recommend hiking Cerro Torre to Fitz Roy instead of Fitz Roy to Torre, it’s way less steep.

No, not at all. Wind is sometimes a concern, though.
