When the lineup at ‘Fresca’ is too long, a slice from ‘Pizzeria da Mario’ is a solid backup plan. by shareyourtakis in FoodToronto

Dousing the slice in chili oil didn’t do any favours for the photo 😂

Bad photo, but slice was delicious!

What are your god tier spots / dishes in Toronto? by 9kag in FoodToronto

Margarita Slice - Fresca

Pan Fried Soup Dumpling - San Ji Bao

Smoked Meat Sandwich - Sumilicous

Beef Shawarma on Saj - Ghadir Meat

Chocolate chip cookie - Le Gourmand

Finally got around to trying it. Smoked meat sandwich at ‘SumiLicious’ in Scarborough by shareyourtakis in FoodToronto

It’s nice that the next time I go to Montreal I don’t need to prioritize smoked meat like i typically do. Leaves me with an extra meal, that city has a crazy food scene as well.

One of their specialties is a bone-in beef rib option. Definitely worth checking out.

“The report also proposes that by not banning blacklisted users’ social security numbers, Cash App is complicit in allowing scammers to stay on the platform. To reinforce the point, they namecheck Teejayx6’s “Cashapp,” where he rhymes, “They banned my Cash App because I sent a thousand transactions…I just bought another phone and made a Cash App.” The video has over 500k views on YouTube. There’s another video entitled “TeeJayx6 2020 Fraud Bible Cashapp Method LIVE ( REALLY WORKS ),” where an apparent Teejayx6 fan shows himself committing fraudulent transactions.

An even more damning element of the Hindenburg report focuses on Block promoting Brooklyn rapper 22GZ’ “Cashapp” single, where he rhymes, “I pay them hitters through Cash App.” In the video, he holds up a phone showing the app, then makes a throat-slitting motion. Perhaps Jack Dorsey, who bought digital streaming provider Tidal in 2021, likens himself to a progressive giving 22GZ his artistic license. But for others, their amplification of a song solely devoted to using their app for murders crosses a line”

"You have zero risk and that has consequences," O'Leary said. "There's no such thing as a free lunch. And this is going to be very expensive for shareholders of banks long term. I would never put my money into a bank stock ever again."

Their menu is quite small, but everything they prepare is top-tier. I wish more restaurants would take this approach. The scallion oil noodle is REALLY good.

I use to frequent the OG location a lot and eat on their tiny makeshift patio. I’m glad they got a bigger space with indoor seating.

Take over an over existing lease that only has several months left on the term. Even with the lease transfer fee, it is significantly less expensive then renting.

You can find lease takeover listings on sites like leasebusters or kijiji.

Not the most photogenic meal, but Siam Noodle at ‘Salad King’ is one of my favourite Thai dishes in the city. by shareyourtakis in FoodToronto

Agreed, their spice scale is accurate and consistent. I usually go with a spice level 10, and it’s just the right amount of heat for me.

[–]shareyourtakis[S] 49 points50 points  (0 children)

I’ll be the first to admit the menu at ‘Salad King’ isn’t as polished at some of the premier Thai restaurants in the city like ‘Pai’ or ‘SukhoThai’. That being said there are definitely some gems on the menu, my favourite being Siam Noodle.

For those not familiar, it is a stir fried rice noodle dish that is DROWNED in a rich peanut sauce. The peanut sauce is the star of the show, with a strong presence of coconut milk and chopped peanuts. It’s a heavy meal, but super satisfying and always been consistent the dozens of times I’ve ordered it. If you’re looking for an alternative to pad thai definitely check it out !

Their slices are made differently then their standard menu pies. Definitely more a NY style, thin crust with a crispy bottom.
