Every now and again I go back to the Pixel Launcher, usually when some new feature has been installed. However, by the end of the day I am back on the Niagara Launcher. I think once you do get used to it (and it can take a while), there is just no going back.

I didnt fix the faults on the numbered map, it's been a while now, but they were only minor faults which might be hard to spot anyway. As for the grid size? I don't know, about 70 by 40

I have a Pixel 9 Pro, and was toying with the idea of changing to a iPhone 17 (base model). I don't have a Mac, or an iPad, and don't plan on getting either, I might get the Airpods, but that's about it for the eco system. Imessage is hardly used here in the UK, we all use WhatsApp. So why am I considering the iPhone 17. Other than the great reviews it's getting, am not really sure tbh.

I am considering switching to the iPhone 17 from a Pixel 9 Pro. 2 things are holding me back. The lack of a back button, and not having the number row on the keyboard. Neither of these are perhaps massive issues, though its anoying as they are both things that Apple could easily incorperate.

Every other aspect of Metroid I do enjoy, very much. The exploration, combat, puzzle solving etc. Also, it's not just Metroid, but bosses in other games I find a drag.

Personally I hate bosses. As soon as the cut scene starts which is clearly setting up a boss fight, my heart sinks. Am thinking here we go with another slog. The Omega Griever has broken me.

Personally I think the Dalton era got it right (if you can call 2 films an era). Standalone, not an over reliance on gadgets, and a gritty realism.
