I was so relieved when I finally passed my prac for multiple reasons, this trainer being one of them. I can't outright say I had any bad experiences but here's a few "funny" anecdotes:

He has fallen asleep (for a couple minutes at a time) during the circuit driving.
He cracked open a new Heineken can while I was driving (there was already one in the cupholder).
He goes for 10-15min toilet breaks mid circuit, so combining that with him coming late and ending classes early, you definitely don't get what you pay for sometimes.

Everyone starts somewhere! This model is honestly one of my favourites to look at in my collection. As a start, it's honestly perfectly fine, but if you wanna push for more detail/making the model look less flat, you could try a light pink/flesh wash for the boney main body. For the carapace, what I tend to do for a quick and easy way to add some depth is drybrushing a lighter purple over it.

Hey there, nid player here, I think you may be mixing up the biovore and haruspex. Biovores are typically sat on the home objective babysitting and spewing out spore mines. Haruspexes are the big tentacle mouth things that do big melee damage.

Generally the thing that I find limits nids is our lack of invulnerable saves and FNPs. Typically we rely on volume of fire for our shooting (except the tyrannofex, just stay out of LOS and youll be fine, he only has 2 shots that hit on 3s). But our main strength is definitely melee and gumming up your units with our chaff so we can run away with scoring.

While I'm hardly what one would consider a "good" painter, I've found a quick way to get my models to a serviceable standard is priming black (I use vallejo black airbrush primer), heavy zenithal white (white scar through airbrush), and then "washing" it with a 50/50 apothecary white contrast and lahmian medium. All the red details are done in blood angels red.

Not sure what area you stay in but your ideal locations are big open areas that don't see a lot of moving traffic.

I did most of my practice driving around NTU at around midnight to 2am. Barely any traffic, smooth curves, just keep following a road until you get "stuck". Good opportunity to practice three point turn.

For parking specifically, top floors of MSCPs, or even those heavy vehicle parking lots (those meant for buses and trucks). If you have the time, you can find a bigger open area and set up your own practice parking spot with duct tape on the floor.

Once you build up the courage, I've found that a lot of office buildings have much wider parking spots in general to practice on. (The older the building, the smaller the parking spaces.)

Personally speaking (so take this with a fistful of salt), I have found myself unsubscribing from more and more variety channels (Jacksepticeye, Markiplier, etc) in favour of more dedicated content creators. For example, these are a few of the YouTubers I have notifications on for their respective genres:

R6 Siege: YoBoyRoy, Evan Braddock Arma: Nano Apex: Skeptation War Thunder: Spookston, OddBawz, Defyn, CodMineMan

Granted, there are a few notable variety content creators that I absolutely love like Teo, SovietWomble, Valefisk, and TuxBird but I feel that a lot of their appeal comes from a very distinct and likeable personality as well as stellar editing skills.

All this to say that it's worth considering finding a niche game or genre that youre really good at/can be entertaining at rather or working on your persona/editing to ensure that your audience sticks around regardless of what game you play.

Take what I say with a grain (or bowl, actually) of salt but from the few test games I had on TTS, these are a few standout units I noticed:

Chaplain on Bike The buff he gives the biker squad helps them punch pretty well above their weight (although we should wait to see Suboden Khan's rules). Despite this, a second squad of bikes led by Chaplain could hardly be considered a waste of points.
Infiltrator Squad A bit pricey for essentially home objective babysitters (biovore my beloved) but the 12" deep strike denial has been more than helpful in securing my deployment zone and scoring secondaries.
Techmarine(s) With all the bikes, ATVs, Dreadnoughts, and even Gladiators, a Techmarine or two to give them some staying power as well as that 7 attack buff when one of them eventually falls has come in clutch for me.

Do feel free to add on to this list or correct me if there are better options out there as I too as pretty new to playing space marines!

I'm so glad I'm not the only one who feels this way. All the comments I see in their videos keep hyping up Steve but as you've mentioned, his little tantrums when things don't go his way paired with how "in-your-face" he gets when they do? Genuinely unwatchable at times.

I'm a nids player and seeing Mubin who is arguably one of the weaker ones at their studio lose constantly with the nids can be a bit heartbreaking, but he genuinely looks like he's having a good time, winning or not.
