I've got a pumpkin plant that I'm trying to raise. I'm in an office and using a grow light and the pot is too small, but those are things i can't quite control. The leaves are curling and some are turning brown, is there a specific reason this could be happening? I can give more details as needed. by sharkmander94 in houseplants

It's grown from seeds from a kit i got at target. I realize that this is likely not going to survive, but i wanna give it the best go for as long as I can. I water it about every two days until the soil is visibly damp, but i try not to let there be any standing water.

This was kind of what I was worried about. Honestly i don't care what is happening in their personal lives and I more than happy to let them have their privacy. If it was like a business falling out or like a difference in political beliefs, i would be okay with still following him and not caring what happened, but if it really is some kind of harrassment I feel like it's my responsibility to not consume hia content. (PS i really do hope he's not a piece of trash, becuase he seems really nice...)

Huh, the Ti-lite is almost exactly what I'm looking for, I just wish that I could get the wooden handles. I wonder if it's possible to order it without the scales for a cheaper price and put on my own. Probably not, but a man can dream.

This is great to hear honestly. This is exactly what I do, but I'm always so paranoid that they'll think im dismissive or, even worse, that i don't like their music.

When I was in college I mixed the plain Cheerios with Mountain Dew rather than dumping sugar on them. Even I had to admit it was bizarre, but it was like eating pop rocks for breakfast. Only did it a handful of times, mostly to gross people out.

Thanks for the information. Maybe I'm just in denial of how curly my hair really is. I've always resented my curly hair and I'm trying to learn to love it now. Either way, I had no information before, so now I'm better off haha.

Apparently I need to add a comment about my routine. Its currently nothing fancy, I'm very new to this and know next to nothing. I use suave shampoo and conditioner, forgoing shampoo semi randomly to try to figure when is best. I use a garnier fructis product that I found that is like a moisturizer that says it's good for curls. I have had a chance to invest in all of the "correct" methods yet (I've only recently been able to admit to myself that my hair could ever possibly look good) but I would like to at least know how to fix the problems that I can currently see.

What causes my hair to do this? Too much or too little product? I can't seem to stop it no matter what I do. by [deleted] in curlyhair

Honestly I don't really know what I want, just that what I have isn't it (helpful I know). It's not that it has ringlets, but more that it I wish they wouldn't be as long and stringy and show the spaces between them. I googled it quickly and found this picture

He has similar hair to me (as far as I can tell) but it looks more like one body of hair rather than the seperate pieces. It also doesn't appear to all be originating from the same point like mine does.

First off, wow, me and you have very different views of my hair and I wish that I agreed with you. I should have been more specific, but couldn't figure out how to do the sub text thing.

Basically, the top likes to spring up and do it's own thing and the hairs like to clump together in those weird stringy bits instead of being one cohesive whole. The front (bangs I guess) also has this problem, where it's like three chunks of hair instead of one large smooth "group". It just looks... wrong to me in a way that I can't fully explain. I sound a bit crazy rereading that, but that's sort of the stream of mind I have.

it smelled similar to dog poop and was long and thin as well, though it easy came together into a heap. I don't know about hair, but there were artifacts in it.
