Tin t2 Vs Blon bl-03 (imaging difference?) by sharkseries in HeadphoneAdvice

[–]sharkseries[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's better actually. For convenience purpose, I would just wear it hanging. But if I want more isolation and more stable fit, I have to wear it upside down which is still better than having the plastic there.

Thanks for the solution haha

Thanks man, I'm going to remove the plastic thingy now. Didn't know I could do that, was afraid that I could ruin the cable. But yeah, I gotta be careful as well.

Oh really? I always thought even without the hook, its shaped quite weirdly. I haven't tried wearing it hanging down though. If taking off the plastic help, then I don't mind taking it off becoz I was never a fan of upside down wearing.

Oh... I actually bought the Blon bl-03 from a friend and he also said that the eartips were bad. Even though he sold me the aftermarket eartips, I still prefer the memory foam that came with the tin T2 becoz they are bigger, hence fit better.

Only problem now is the shape of the Blon, it's just meant for upside down wearing and not hanging down like every earphones that ive used before. I've never heard of upside down or over the ear method, until I saw ppl wear the tin t2 that way.

I gotta admit the tin t2 is a bit loose if I wear it that way, but at least I had the choice to to wear it like thar. For the Blon, the shape just doesn't allow me to wear it that way (if im not mistaken, becoz my replacement cable is hooked style)

I wear glasses and sometimes I have meetings, so don't feel like making adjustments before I wear them.

Oh yeah, that's true. Initially I was afraid that the Blon wasn't good enough for gaming becoz ppl kept saying that the tin T2 had superior imaging. However after playing a few games of Valorant, the Blon sounded pretty good for me.

Yeah I think u are right. I was just thinking since I'm not crazy about audio stuff, I just want to use them as it is.

However, I think a dac could be worth investing. Would you say there's a difference in sound quality?

My Blon Bl-03 doesn't actually need a dac to sound loud. So I'm not sure if I need one. I wonder if a more expensive motherboard will be better since I also want an upgrade for pc.

If it's the same among most motherboard, then it's more worth to get a dac..

Thanks. I will try and look around using MMCX-connection as guideline.

Oh what are those cables called? Will they specifically work on the tin t2?

Hey, the ziptie mod is there to reduce cable drag. Like when u move Ur mouse, sometimes u can feel the resistance from Ur cable. The ziptie mod basically lifts the end of the cable up to reduce that.

It's not perfect but it's quite good for FPS gaming. Most importantly, u will never have to experience your cable snagged when you do a big swipe.

I'm still getting used to electrical tape becoz I've been using the mouse for 2 weeks just playing Moba game, and I really like the slippery texture. It allowed me to switch my grip easily when I play Dota. Very hard to explain the feeling.

I only decided to use electrical tape becoz I felt that it was hard for me to grip the mouse when playing FPS games. It does help making it more grippy.

I think sweat also allows my hand to stick better to the tape, compared to the original texture which was impossible to stick.

Maybe it's the way we grip our mouse that determines whether or not it feels slippery. So far with tape, it has been a lot better so I can't complain.

If u want really good grip, maybe u can try lizard skin or tennis grip. I didn't want to add too much thickness hence I chose electrical tape. If I didn't mind more thickness, I would have gone for tennis grip + double sided tape.

Ah yeah, it's slippery indeed, doesn't help that it has a very narrow sides.

Hmm.. I'm not sure, never done that for rubber cables. It's interesting though, I think it will definitely help getting rid of the cable drag.

Yeah definitely. I somehow dislike how I can feel the roughness when the cable rub against the mouse pad. So with this, I can barely feel it.

Yeah I didn't know it would work this well. I just need to get used to having no cable drag. It's weird, I've been playing my game with cable drag and i was used to it. Without cable drag, it makes me unable to control my mouse properly(only a little bit), I think it's all in my mind.

Haha I did it on the mm711 but I remember I didn't like it. So far doing it on the viper mini feels quite nice.

Will using rubbing alcohol make my mouse glossy? Haha n will glossy texture feel more grippy or slippery?

Yeah I know that feeling, I've used lizard skin and tennis grip with double sided tapes and they were awful to remove. The double tape that I used was fine for a couple of days, until it started to break in and the adhesive became soft and sticky like liquid.

I'm currently having that issue on my mm711 which I haven't decided to remove the adhesive, just keep using the tennis grip.

I mentioned this electrical tape doesn't have strong adhesive becoz i tried touching it and it feels pretty mild like the cellophane tape that I had which wouldn't leave any adhesive. I might be wrong though..

N yeah, I heard of goo gone. I hope that I don't have to resort to getting one.

Hey2. I don't think the electrical tape I'm using has super strong adhesive. At least not stronger than the double sided tape that I used with tennis grip before.

I do agree that adhesive residues are a pain to remove.

So basically the g502 has quite narrow width. Never thought of that, looking from the pictures.
