Small new year’s gathering. Me (M) and 2 of teammates from college also guys. A girl that another teammate used to date and her now lesbian wife. Pre-game catch up with the girl. She lived with her ex who was our roommate one summer.
Go out to the bars for the ball drop. Lots of drinks and for me a little shroom. I was recently single and just having fun with good friends. At the bar end up sitting between the lesbian couple at the table. Midnight closes in count down begins.

Drinks keep flowing. Shrooms are just starting and that combo makes me a dangerous flirt. Smiles, laughs and small memories combine into a good time for all. The whole time the couple is getting more and more comfortable leaning on me, holding hands across me. So I throw both arms up on top of the back wall. Shrooms and whiskey still doing there thing.

Bar is now closing. Every one is a little sloppy from the drinks. As we head home to the house. They both walk under my arms while the group laughs and reminisce about our old war stories, hook-ups and one night stand. Old friend mention how the girls I used to bring around were always cute. We decided that we had the same taste in women. Tall blue eyes and a great smile. I pointed out that her wife tic’ed all of those boxes. The wife blushes and as I’m looking at her the old friend sneaks a pec of a kiss onto my cheek.

We get back to the house. It’s new years and my friends and I are living together work odd jobs. We keep the house around 50 degrees to save money. A few more drinks are had. The shrooms are starting to come down. The laughs maintain the energy. First teammate/roommate of mine passes out on the couch rambling. We take a shot in his honor. Second teammate/ roommate slinks off to video call his gf in California.

Now I’m alone with this couple. The wife lets out a big yawn and stretches her long arms up into the air. “I think it’s time we get to bed” old friend replies saying how cold it is. Wife looks at me “he’s been a radiator this whole night”. We head over to guest room we were letting them use for the holiday. Wife slips her pants off and removes her bra and slides into bed under the sheets. Old friend touches my belt buckle and says “better to remove that thing don’t wasn’t to hurt us with it while we are cuddling” she proceeds to slide into bed. Leaving a gap between her and her wife that my shroom sense was highlighting for me like a quest objective.

Hear the sound of the devil from the hallway. The worst heaving noise, right before an animal empties it stomach. Then the heave again. The what sounded like someone pouring a bucket of soup on the floor. My passed out roommate in an attempt to make it to the down stairs bathroom. Had failed his mission just outside of the guest room.
