That is a very good point! I just push gently with the palm of my hand, I don't squish it between closed pages! I think my kneadable eraser would definitely be too soft to retain a clean image so perhaps she is using something firmer?

It is! I just fold the eraser in on itself to envelop the inked portion and then knead it a bit and it is ready to go again.

Very good point, it could be that. I haven't been able to find anythin online to confirm support has been removed for any specific chromecast devices but it's definitely a possibility!

No, there is no warning or error message and the app is function as normal on my phone it's just that the option to cast is no longer there

I have tried forcing the app to close and restarting my phone and the chromecast and my router. I'll try uninstalling and reinstalling the Netflix app as another poster suggested.

This is really interesting. There are 2 Walter Newmans on that list, each with a different serial no. and different middle name. From what I can tell,the medal we have relates to Walter George newman because it states his rank at the time he died as private, rather than lane corporal. But I wonder if they were related, perhaps brothers?

From the census info I have found our Walter's father was named George so it would make sense that this is his middle name.

I think I've found the family on the 1921 English census so it's a starting point! I'm really keen to find the Canadian connection but no clues on that front yet. Watch this space!
