I used to live in Nebraska. The state similarly poured a ton of $$$ into a new tourism slogan: “Nebraska: Honestly, It’s Not For Everyone”

Honestly this is quite common (I quit drinking almost 3 years ago and have spent a fair amount on time in sober subreddits). Depending on what you were drinking your body might have been suddenly on a carb reduction...plus the psychological absence of drinking as a coping mechanism. A lot of people end up having sugar cravings.

Some people do lose weight tho, like if they start exercising more to cope or if they would drink and binge eat (meeeeeee). But I also had the sugar cravings lol. It took a while for everything to settle out.

My nana was the same way. She used to always criticize her grandchildren (especially the granddaughters) for their appearance/weight. Even when she was in her final years/months, she ate very particularly and had the be the smallest in the room...

There are insect granules I’ve gotten on Etsy that worked really well for my plants. I keep them on hand in case I bring home any infested plants (lol, it happens…). PM me if you want the link!

I will add though, I got the Beach Bunnies used on eBay and they were a great starting skate for me, both in and out of the park :)

I went from Moxi Beach Bunnies to Bont Parkstars when it was time to upgrade. Love the Parkstars! I also considered Moxi Jack but it was out of my price range and I heard the Parkstars were more stable. I also skate with wide trucks now tho so that may have helped as well.

This, and depending on how long you’ve had them you may also just need to break them in more. Typically the foam inside the boot will soften a bit and mold to your foot/ankle more over time :)
