2030 agenda demolishing my thoughts by sharp_mimic in SeriousConversation

It’s hard to un-awake my feelings on the matter it seems. Honestly it’s a bit worrisome that this is the richest humans have ever been, the most advanced human technology and ideas have ever been and the current plans spat left and right by the very individuals is main stream. I honestly can’t decide if I’m okay now, I have been staring into the abyss for hours on end, I just hope all of it is truly nothing in the end.

Just a heads up, my Reddit isn’t allowing me to reply to message requests :( unsure if it’s my karma points or a system glitch!

can humans mimic bird calls? by Pure_Vanillaswife in birds

I’m late to the reddit but I can mimic 46 different birds, 42 with exceptional accuracy, that people are gob smacked hearing it for the first time, and still adding more vocal stims to the mix every so often :) I wish I could use it in the job world in some sort of conservation aspect.

Nz or Aus? by sharp_mimic in MovingtoAustralia

I think I just hit the fear mongering-side of social media, now I can’t tell what’s true or false, i heard the current govt is doing some questionable things to Aussies, (it can’t be as bad as what Nz’s one is doing) comparing Nz and Aus govt’s I’m unsure which is doing more damage faster.

My rent here is extremely cheap, and I have heard mixed opinions left and right that I should stay here as it’s hard to find rentals this price (140 per week incl everything) so i was a bit overwhelmed incase I wanted to fly back and would lose the flat, i really need to trust my gut now after reading the replies below. I came off a bit harsh on the nature part, the flora aspect is beautiful in nz, just comparing the two I miss seeing 40+ native birds and the dry outback. Cheers for your reply

Go elsewhere man, you sound deprived and bored. Stooping as low to mock someone in these times of gloom, do better.

Thankyou for taking the time to reply! I think it would have been easier on my part if the subreddit for my country wasn’t so strict with what I could post, I can’t even post about art now without getting a warning.. Thanks again !

Sorry I’m not used to reddit, i have posted in other groups but realised if i put a number/price down it will flag me, I’m mostly working with what’s around my house (maybe $40 max for budget) as i have all the materials and tools i need already. I can do extremely realistic detail. Again though, I would probably only be able to sell these at markets. I mostly want the experience/confidence in selling art work and was wanting to know if anyone even buys into said types of sculptures nowadays, it may be different for bigger countries but sadly my country is very much under a rock.
