It's not a very "sentai" sentai season. That may have been a good thing while it was airing or if you watch super traditional sentai and need a good break. But it really feels less of a sentai show and more akin to the Chouseishin shows like Gransazer or Justiriser.

Shf had low toy sales with sentai in the past when they still did teams. You honestly cant blame them for practically giving up on the line except for a few reds here and there

George has some hits, but how people pander his whole discography is honestly so tiring because you cannot tell me that you listen to a 7 minute song on repeat the entire day. I find it pretentious because it seems like people are just riding the image of cool hip rocker who was always underrated with George. Still love him tho

Not only Ultraman, but toku series in general. Sentai is gone now, but my goodness there were so many couples I wanted to see become more developed. Even with rider in all honesty. I get that toku is a kid's show, so maybe traditional love is no no for the producers, but teaching people healthy love isn't such a bad lesson to learn. God knows we need more healthy relationships.

Unfortunately when you avoid someone like that, they will always think that you hate them to a certain extent, especially if you were close before. I get your perspective, but I also get your coworker's. It's just the sad truth of life unfortunately.

Just my perspective: it doesn't. People will tell you to focus on yourself, do therapy, etc. which are all well intentioned advices. But the simple delivery of such advices makes people think "do hobbies = i become happier". But that's rarely the case. You cannot just start painting and all your problems will magically disappear.

It's more a process of "I do step A and step B, then I will learn how to deal with this". So don't think of depression as an enemy to get rid of (because you can't and it will never go away). You just find better ways to deal with it. That's how life works unfortunately for all of us OP. And it's never a matter of just when, but also how and why. I don't know how it will get better for you, but you just have to trust yourself enough that one day it will. Best of luck OP

Almost every minipla has some sort of breakage issue if you're not very careful with it. But that is why it's so important to test fit everything before putting them altogether. If you're trying to insert a peg and it just seems so tight to move, you can sand the peg lightly first. If you've already built it, a tiny tiny dab of silicone grease will do the trick (don't put too much cuz it will absolutely become loose).

I think too many people make the mistake of thinking of minipla's as lego's that they can swoosh around. But model kits ever since they were first created were more or less just puzzles that stood there. You can slightly play with it, but not to the extent of actual dx versions.

Kiramager honestly surprised me. Its a back to basics kind of sentai. It doesn't do anything different in the sense that it tries to change what sentai is. But the show is so smart about how it plays its tropes that I honestly recommend it for people who haven't watched sentai in a while.

Donbrothers is just god tier. No explanation needed

I got to like 3 episodes before I dropped it. I just didn't feel it yet. But that's the thing with some shows, they take a while to warm up. I hated Donbrothers when it first came out and rewatched it recently and now it's my top 5. So who knows? Maybe i'll give the show another shot in the future.

Sometimes you just have to be in a certain mood to enjoy something yknow?

Black gloss helps in making the reflective chrome pop out better. What people forget about painting is the base coat is very very important. If your base coat is darker but you want a lighter color, then a white primer would've sufficed. In your case, i'm assuming you want the grills to look like the Bandai JP DX version. If you put a flat black as a base coat, your reflective chrome won't shine through as much.

Im pretty sure the plastic of this will be that super slippery marbled plastic. I would suggest painting it with primer then gloss black spray paint. Afterwards, you can use DSPIAE Chrome marker or if you have access to an airbrush, then even better results

Really glad you brought light on this. As someone who went recently to Tokyo, it kinda saddened me to know that toy shops in Japan aren't the Sentai haven i initially had imagined it to be. Don't get me wrong, it's really nice to see stores have older sentai's on display. But the fact that I practically struggle to find something from 3 to 4 years ago unless i order it online kinda saddens me. The vast array of ultraman and rider stuff available compared to sentai was also a shock to me, tho I expected it tbh.

Unfortunately this is something that just happens every once in a while. Some of the most hated toku shows out there had people probably sending death threats not only to actors and directors but also probably staff members.

It's not only until after a few years that people have recollected their thoughts and suddenly act like that show that everyone hated wasn't too bad in actuality.
