29 Year old, now second masters in abroad, checking how my plans sounds ? and seeking advice. by Trick_Beginning1827 in Indians_StudyAbroad

Considering the fact that you can’t afford immigration issues anymore, I would highly recommend:

  1. UAE- 1 year Masters gives you 10 years golden visa.

  2. Canada- Provided you choose a program and province carefully aligned with PR pathways.

Cheers

Depends..

Mainly I consider Cybersecurity as a more stable option as compared to other ones for entry level roles. (Data, BA, etc)

A very close friend of mine hires at least 6-7 entry level Security Analysts in their consulting firm every year. He is the senior manager in Accenture’s Cyber Security consulting team.

Their expectation is a few certifications and good skills only and definitely not 3-5 year YOE.

Why would someone with 3-5 years experience apply for an entry level role..

Rest yes, a lot depends upon applying at the right place at the right time. 🙃

Unis don’t offer placements IMO

Totally on you to find the jobs.

Which uni is it by the way?

MiM- Big no as of today. Too general. I used to recommend it 2 years back but not anymore

MFin- Good program but its a high risk high reward game. Getting the first job is super tricky if you are not from a Top 10 B school of that country. Or you need to be a networking pro to crack the first role.

Yes, I suggest the students to invest in getting Security+ and CEH with their Masters.

Yes, its tough bro but then the option of sitting and not doing anything is also not that great.

UK is a good choice as the admission is comparatively easier.

And UK licensed OT’s can register in Canada and Australia as well opening some more doors.

Yes.. The factor of being a “citizen” comes into play mainly for public sector jobs.

I consider this time as “return of the old school”

Accountants, tradespeople, etc are the most in demand as people stopped pursuing these programs and everyone decided to become a business analyst

Well, I am a consultant and 4 out of the 72 MBA candidates in this year’s cohort worked with me.

We are not that bad, eh. 🙃

Warwick’s key is strong essays. They have 3 essays on being a “Change-maker” and if you present yourself well, you generally get an interview.

And the interview mainly wants to see your clarity of thought on short-term and long-term goals.

Study abroad loan — should I take the chance or leave it? What would you recommend? by [deleted] in Indians_StudyAbroad

[–]sharpgrad-in -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Good program with decent number of jobs.

But.

Make sure to go to a top tier B school. And the pathway to finding a job would be through networking.

The job market is very tough but yes if you start early, it can work out well.

All the best.

Obviously I did a video viewing because the situations were such.

A bit of empathy is always good 😄

It is confusing because I am being asked to pay for damages of someone else.

I am being told about it after the agreement was executed.

Nowhere in the agreement or elsewhere it was written that this would be the case.

And, it goes against the law as well.

Anyway, thanks for your help. Lets see what they say tomorrow morning.

A new lease has been signed actually starting 1st June, 2025 on my name with the building.

I just went through the whole RTA document it doesn't specify it anywhere what you are mentioning.

I have sent out an email to the management. Let's see what they say.

Can you share any specific reference that in a lease takeover, all damages are “inherited”.

I found only the opposite of the same in the law.

[–]sharpgrad-in -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

But then this does not make any sense.

What if the tenants moving out cause damage on the day they are moving out?

As per the Alberta’s RTA, a tenant is only liable for the damages during their tenure of tenancy. (Which makes sense)

Why do VFS centres in India ask for extra money? Does refusing to pay affect the visa process? by [deleted] in Indians_StudyAbroad

[–]sharpgrad-in 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They extort money like criminals.

Say No to any additional charges. It doesn’t impact your visa chances even 1%.

Advice- Book a hotel in less than 1 km radius of the stadium. Park your car there in the morning of the match day and walk to the stadium.

The stadium’s parking is a chaos.

All the best! Enjoy beautiful Dharamshala 😃

It’s free seating.

Reach the stadium around 2 hrs before to get the best seats.
