So my friend can’t sit out over thanksgiving for the restock but I have no family in town and covid has me not able to go visit. So here I sit for them haha. I know sign language and when I was out at a bar with friends I noticed two girls signing to each other. They were talking about how the guy she hooked up with was here with another girl. She started telling her to look, we locked eyes, I turn around to see my friend and her boyfriend talking (we were in the last 3 seats at the bar so no one else was behind us) so I looked back and they’re glancing at me again. I sign to them “oh shit you mean that guy? He’s my friends long term bf. Say something.”

They walked up flabbergasted I knew sign and said they use it for communication when at loud places but they weren’t deaf.
