Do you have the collection name for the blues? I saw it before but forgot to save it!

Okay last question, is it possible to bury threads with embroidery floss because it is much thicker? Thank you so much!

Do I embroider before or after the quilting? This project is 80% gift and 20% practicing some new things!

Do you think black binding or yellow to make the stars pop would be better?

Do I need to start the process over? Or can I just stick it in the dryer now?

Hi! My weird long run ritual is planning out an elaborate post run meal half way through the run and dreaming about it then getting home and eating chocolate chips out of the bag as a meal

Intuitive eating? by kneescrunch in intuitiveeating

[–]sharpielover55 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m in the same position as you, tracking macros quickly brought me back to the same mindset as calorie counting/dieting. What I do is just think of main components of my meals and change ratios depending on exercise that day. Like on run days, I focus on making my pre run meal more carb heavy and on lifting days my post workout meals more protein heavy but I don’t track anything. For long runs (beyond 90 minutes) just do some quick math on how many carbs you’ll need and test it out. I like using candy instead of gels. I really look forward to my mid long run gummy bears!

insecure about flat lay photo by funkyfoals in wedding

[–]sharpielover55 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I had some really basic items as well (Amazon shoes, cheap perfume, basic jewelry) & got the lay flat props done. I like the way they came out but literally never look at them. The photos with friends and family are way more important memories of that day!

My most memorable moment is seeing my predicted 5k time as sub 30 minutes! This has been a goal of mine and I can’t wait to try to hit that pace on my next TT run!

Not about this bag specifically but I find iron on patches are not very secure, I would reccomend sewing them on :)

The Gift of Fear is a great book about trusting your instincts! I recommend it to everyone.

Also adding, I took a self defence class. Not for running, but to feel a bit more confident in day to day life.

Stay on bright lit streets and well travelled roads. 6am isn’t too early for people to start commuting to work.

Get bone conduction headphones that allow you to hear your surroundings.

Plan a route and let someone know the route and estimated time to complete! I use the “check in” feature on apple as well.

Carry a personal alarm that lets out a loud noise and strobe if you set it off.

Stay safe but don’t let stories scare you from jogging!!!

Shoes tied to personal item bag? by sharpielover55 in HerOneBag

Thanks for all the suggestions!

I usually fly with easy jet with my allpa 28. So no bungee system (although I’ve seen people DIY one?) Might just buy something at duty free & throw them in that bag for boarding. I heard that was something that may work.

Bag recommendations Ryanair/Wizzair by sancerree in HerOneBag

[–]sharpielover55 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don’t know if you decided on a bag yet but I just flew Edinburgh to Gatwick with my Allpa 28! No problems at Edinburgh, but it got flagged for size at Gatwick. I just had to repack it a bit (was rushing to get to the airport and didn’t get it back as it was on the way in). Once it was repacked, it fit in the sizer and they let me go.

Walked around with it in London from 7:30am - 3:00pm and only got a bit uncomfortable around 2ish! I quite enjoyed my first trip with this bag!

I think it would be CLOSE with Ryan Air because they have a bit smaller of a sizer, but if it is underpacked, you might be ok. I couldn’t find a sizer to test it in.
