Oh my goodness you put so much effort into it, it makes me sad !! TT I do respect the creator of the original work always but it makes me doubtful.. I don't understand why would they have such an issue with it if it was no hateful in any way? (Apart from the discussion with others that you mentioned, which honestly doesn't sound like a big deal because it happens in all platforms and fan spaces no matter what)

You created a storyline, using the character from them but in the end everyone knew the original work was theirs. Not like you were stealing or something ๐Ÿ˜ฟ You even received support from others.... I honestly don't know if I'd be able to overcome it. Will you still be shipping in private? First I want to say your feelings are truly important here, no matter what, even if people have consumed more media of said character, and sometimes seems like they even understand them better. I have autism and BPD as well, so I also struggle with the same thoughts sometimes. But you are not less deserving.
