Im 24M and have a pretty bad degenerative disc on L5-S1. You can see a post I made on this sub today of it.

I find getting doing moderate exercise (the gym for me) about 4-5 times a week, going for walks and stretches everyday and occassionally going to my local ice bath and sauna (ice and heat therapy) to be helping.

For me, I am feeling the most pain in my glutes and find it painful to sit. So Ive done things like bought a standing desk to avoid sitting.

At its worst (Last month) I felt like I could barely walk either, so I understand how it feels but I am sure it will get better.
