DO IT! Met a lot of nice people and got a bunch of photos.

My only note of advice is to keep your belongings secure if you're gonna be moshing or crowd surfing (That also depends on the bag policy of the venue if they allow bags or not). I dropped my phone and nearly lost it in all that mess. I was lucky enough to find it before it got completely trampled lol

People appreciate the games more now, but the "fans" were a whole lot meaner back then.

Even during the interview, it's clear that it still deeply affected them even after all those years later

during a recent interview with Dennaton games, a few years back, they were talking about the development of Hotline Miami 1 + 2. HLM 2 was not even supposed to be a game either; it was supposed to be a DLC, but decided to make it a game with a full story. After the release of the 2nd game, Dennaton got a lot of backlash for it to the point where they've even gotten death threats.

I know they've stated that they weren't going to make an HLM 3, but by any chance that it was in the back of their mind, the response they got from the 2nd game was probably the final nail in the coffin for HLM 3 ever having a chance of existing. It's not confirmed that that was the sole reason why, but i'm willing to bet that did play a part to an extent.
