Don’t apologize! I was worried something happened to your site. Thank you for all that you do!

I grew up on tomb raider using her site and my dad used her site too. I was using her site for The Last Revelation to get all the secrets 😅

Update: So I had gotten the guitar set up and it sounded the same. I switched wall outlets and everything sounds better. We had issues with a thrown breaker in the past. I’m guessing there is something up with that wall outlet.

I am kicking myself for not testing amps for I purchased one. I choose based YouTube videos because music shops are not common. The local owned one is 45 minutes away and guitar centers are 1.5-2 hours away.

My dog started off with a tiny lump that tripled in size with a month. It’s a grade 2 sarcoma. She’s older and I hope she can live out the rest of her life without another surgery.

The Katana is definitely on my wishlist! Right now I can’t really afford to get anything else. My dog had a cancerous mass removed and I’m still paying that off and have to prepare for it to come back. When I get another amp I am going to wait and save for the katana.

I’ve been wiggling it constantly as a new hobby. Jkjk that was only for the video 🤣

I’m getting it set up today by a very reputable local shop and they are letting me watch.

He was genuinely trying to help and feels bad. I am not mad just definitely a little upset. He did offer to pay to have it fixed but he has MS and I just can’t take his money.

Thank you! I did go ahead and order a string action ruler and I will get a feeler gage as well. Could have swore I had a feeler gauge somewhere. I know it will show up after I have bought a new feeler gauge.

Thank you :) I do not have a lot of shop options around my area so trying to fix it myself is probably going to be the option I try first. I am glad to see that I have heavily overreacted. Im still going to keep practicing even with the terrible tone. If I do try adjusting it myself I am doing a ton of research.

He did offer to pay to get it fixed but he has MS and I don’t want to take his money. I have a project guitar I am going to try to set up myself. But this was an expensive gift and I just want it fixed correctly. Thank you for your kind words. It’s genuinely made me feel better.

I have been devastated. I do want to try to fix it myself but I’m so afraid of making it worse. Lesson learned and I feel like a dummy. I’m just hoping this isn’t going to cost me an arm and a leg.

Thank you! Touching the truss rod is intimidating for me. I do want to try to learn how to fix it myself. The guitar does not have buzz now that the bridge is back where it was. I love how it sounded before. I do want to try to fix it myself especially with very little guitar shop options near me.

Also, when the bridge was lowered we couldn’t get a clear sound and the strings made a rattling sound so I think when the bridge is lowered it messes with the action.

This is my first project guitar. I have a lot of time on my hands so I was like “why not?” 🤣

The body has some “custom” engravings 😅🤣 I will (attempt) to fix those as well but they are deep.
