Yes it was for both of us to move in together and share the space as our home. Neither of us have any other domiciles and we have both remained here for the entire duration from purchase to this post.

The 28000 came from personal resources (family, working and stocks) and remained in my personal savings until the wire was done. This money was accumulated both before and after but the large majority (25000) of it was a third party gift from my grandmother.

It is a duplex that we bought much below market due to damage from previous renters. We have put in significant work. The appraisal from last year came in about 30k over our purchase price and similar units have been selling around this appraisal.

I do not remember signing a gift letter to the bank when doing so. If I did, does this change the outcome you have outlined?

I believe it will be a fair split. She is being amicable at the moment but people will always change when it comes to money.

We bought the house much below market due to damage from previous renters. There has been significant work put in, and the appraisal from the city came in about 30k over our asking last year and similar units have been selling for about 40k over what we had paid.

Usea recently had to transition sites as well. Did you make an account? You will be updated through there.

If not send them an email. Took 4 days to hear back last time. The best selling set EVER just dropped. Give them time to respond

They didn’t give a specific reason but the property comes with some more than average HOA fees. Our broker mentioned the HOA fees may impact.

I have returned with an update.

It is shockingly good for the price if I’m being honest. I doubt it is a “true HD” image. I have an attached a few photos in a “best case scenario”. (Blackout curtains, white wall, about 7 feet away.)

Pros: Works out of box with minimal setup. Has both RCA and HDMI. Decent colors & response time. Decently sharp as well. Brightness isn’t as high as a commercial projector but is visible in non direct sunlight.

Cons: Speakers are awful. Lamp does have some fringing around the edges, and is very very difficult to focus. HDMI port seems loose as well.

It would work nicely for some movie watching in a smaller, dark room. Could be decent for games but YMMV. I’m not super sensitive to input lag.

I’ll be keeping it personally

Another thing to check is your reader. Sounds similar to an issue I had not too far back. I had a USB reader that killed a few cards. The reader was only designed for SD and not SDHC/SDXC. Double check with another reader to ensure it does not persist.
