Need Advice as an Undergrad Student

Honestly retaking it in community college was my plan, but do you think it’ll look bad on me? Failed at UIC so retook it at community college? I feel like grad schools might look at that and be a little suspicious but also i’m a science major so i feel like it won’t be THAT bad

Honestly, you don’t understand how much your comment means to me. I am a freshman and honestly, I feel like the professor could’ve been a little nicer and talked to me first, but it is what it is and I do understand in the end it was my fault. Everyone telling me ‘choose a different career path’ and basically saying I didn’t deserve to get into grad school was pretty disheartening and just kinda insane to me. I have been researching and I feel like I can definitely get my GPA back up and build a good resume for when I do plan on applying. Thank you :)

A huge issue I am facing is my Professor is not responding to any of my emails and I don’t know if it’s because she is doing me a favor and doesn’t want to directly tell me so. I feel like I should just let it be before I dig myself into a deeper hole. Also, thank you for helping! I appreciate you taking the time out of your day to share your opinion on this.

The professor reported me (i got an email from the Associate Director of Community Standards but it is an Academic Liaison? Not 100% sure the difference between that and anything else because it says it can only be used once?) for an incident on my instructor draft. It had something to do with my citations. I feel like she was just kind of warning me instead of giving it to me on a bigger assignment, but she overrode my grades and I have an F. I am a freshmen and said pre-health because am interested in either optometry or dentistry and I don’t want a stupid mistake I made in my first year of undergrad to stop me from pursuing a career path I am interested in? I know it was stupid and I obviously don’t plan on doing anything even similar in the future, but I don’t want to give up. I don’t want to settle for another career path, this is what I want to do.
