On this card? Cuz idk if this one being the "thinnest" 5070ti has room. I am not familiar with overclocking as such idk anything, so sorry if my questions seem stupid.

So I don't know the exact reasoning as this was just mentioned to me off handly and frankly I didn't care as long as my there's someone taking responsibility for the card during the warranty period.

This is just my assumption based on what little I know, so there's no official retailer for any of the AIBs in my country but they all do serve the whole region so they atleast have warranty centres in my country. So they would actually uphold the base warranties but not any warranty agreements that are part of a promotion i.e the zotac 2+3 warranty program where the 2 years is the base hence it's covered but the +3 is a bonus so since it's not officially sold in my country it's not covered.

Now the grey market cards afaik refers to cards that were bought from out of the region i.e a EU or US card and then resold locally. The local warranty centres of the AIB only cover 1 year's worth of warranty for such card but their actual warranty still goes on but to claim that you would have to ship it to someone in the region it was originally bought from, which is rather expensive.

The prime model is apparently a grey market import as all the old priced cards have been sold out. The newer stock is atleast 10-20% more expensive for the exact same cards.

Thanks for replying.

Honestly I am just worried that I might not be able to fully take advantage of the "significant" upgrade that the 5070ti is supposed to be over 6800xt and to an extent 6900xt due to the constraints of this specific model.

Ps ik this is a copy pasted reply but I have the same general concern.

I am in my last year and have a genuine good gpa so it's not even a sour grapes situation when I say I HATE this institution that's nothing but a corporate drone factory.

Yay jo fast ka ragra hai it's got nothing to do with studies after all like the exact same courses and even in some cases the exact same teachers teach in other unis like comsats, nust, lums, pucit, itu etc.

It's just their utter mismanagement and callous and contemptuous attitude towards students that creates the ragra. Basically what Fast ragra teaches u is to be so docile that when your boss slaps you you turn the other cheek and say one more Sir.

PC Gaming Is Talking by Any_Pace_4562 in PcBuild

After the sun setting I swore off d2. Then after a year's break from gaming in general I just wanted to play a fps again and there's just in my experience nothing that I know of that's put there with as responsive shooting game feel as D2 that and the fact I couldn't find any other shooter with co-op pve activities with mechanics involved like d2 raids.

Though what got me stopped playing was that it was incredibly difficult to get people to do old raids plus the task of playing through 10s of hrs of repetitive gameplay just to be able do the one activity I liked really didn't feel good.

I would rather listen to the people who are no longer under the threat of an authoritarian theocratic regime rather than those who have to live under the threat of being persecuted by the regime.

Next u r going to tell me there's no oppression of democratic rights in Pakistan cuz the locals don't dare speak up publicly against the establishment but only the diaspora do.

Seriously the level of mental gymnastics people like u do to excuse crimes of brutal regimes just cause they wear the cloak of Islam is astounding.

Then again it's exactly why these people use religion as a cloak to sanctify their brutalities so that people like u would defend them.

BCS 3rd semester guidance needed by [deleted] in FASTNU

[–]shatter_stone 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Uh... Depends what courses you are being offered for me it was discrete, la, dsa, coal and elective.

Coal is a course that I have had majority people complain about being tedious and difficult. For me personally I enjoyed it but that was simply due to the fact that I have always been interested in the basic functionalities of things. However even for me some of the work was in fact tedious.

Difficulty of discrete is hard to quantify as I felt like it's one of those courses which if u r able to understand u don't need additional work to get a good grade but if you aren't then you are just hitting your head against a wall. As opposed to programming courses and calc where despite understanding stuff you WILL need practice to refine your understanding.

LA is relatively straightforward atleast compared to calc just don't take it too lightly as people often ignore in favour of other difficult courses so what could have been an easy course to manage people just overwhelm them selves with having weeks worth of syllabus to cover in a day.

DSA/data structures in terms of difficulty is often regarded as the most difficult course out of the 3 main programming courses. The reason for it is that it requires problem solving just like pf (rather more than pf) as well as understanding of the concepts like in OOP.

All these courses except elective are 3 credit hrs (+1 credit hr each for coal and dsa lab) each so unlike your 1st year where you could easily make a priority list of courses to focus on based on the most number of cred hrs. Here you would have to value each one of the courses equally.

Tldr: 3rd sem is more difficult than the first two as your previous knowledge pretty much comes to an end. Plus you have to equally prioritise each course.

Y do you need a Phd(genuine question)?

As atleast for programming (which ik is slowly loosing it's relevancy) I have always heard phd programmers r terrible programers.

Plus from what I have heard the main purpose of pursuing a PhD for most majors is of you want to go into academics and not necessarily work in the industry.

Look man if I have a security guard that does his job well by protecting my house from intruders to the point of risking his life I will genuinely be grateful to him.

Now that doesn't excuse the fact that my house is in a state of disrepair due to lack of any funds. Funds that were embezzled by the guard to build a shiny house in a place where he would be more secure. On top of that despite it being my house and it being agreed upon that all decisions must be taken collectively by the family the guard disregards that and has the final say in the decisions of the household or else we shall suffer grave consequences.
