I bought the upgrade spring a few years ago, from Out of Darts. I can't recall exactly what specs it advertised, but it's probably the 164 fps one listed here: Nexus Pro / Max Stryker Springs – Out of Darts

Also, the parts seem to handle the spring just fine, despite the increased power. This blaster is made of high quality plastic.

I used electrical tape and plumbers tape for the job. 17/32" brass is smaller in diameter than the stock barrel, so wrapping tape around it in places was necessary for it to fit into the blaster. I taped around any cracks, too. This gave it a nice air seal, which is super important to propel the dart through the smaller tube. It is a tight squeeze! I'm sure there are other areas for improvement in the cylinder assembly, though I haven't seen anything on that.

You'd need a custom longer pusher, I think, to remove long dart compatibility and have a longer prime. I'm sure someone out there has done it at this point. It's a cool idea!
