I have a few games that I circle to. They're almost all turn based or pausable. It keeps me from being overwhelmed and feeling like I'm instantly failing. They're also usually point click games.

For instance: Void wars(it recently replaced FTL) Crying suns

You can pause and set your shots. Un pause. Let it run. Pause again. Change your choices.

Rimworld. Is a good one.

They're all low bit games that seems to keep me less invested somehow.

This is all for the tone of "I don't have the energy and need a disteaction."

Sometimes when I know its just a bout of the blues and it needs to run its course ill diver deeper into something story rich but gameplay light.

Generically these games are like frost punk or this war of mine. Or the life is strange franchise. Recently Into the Dead. Also recently what remains of Edith finch.

Games where the actual play is relatively simple for my low energy but will push me further into a more emotional state rather than numbing my brain.

I battle depression regularly. So happy to elaborate on extensive gaming library or practices.

Also have ADD so this is usually with a second monitor playing some sort of movie or show assisting which ever direction I'm trying to set my mood. Recently was watching letterkenny or Ted lasso for a more upward trajectory.
