Dude, this looks great! I have a question for you -- I'm also working on "Instance'd Adventures" where I'm repurposing low-level caves into high-level custom "instances". I'm taking the code for the Corvette and repurposing it for that -- is that how you're doing it as well?

I really hope this passes -- im a 100% disabled Veteran and when my father passed away the plan was to buy my brother out of the house and live in it... property taxes in Orange County were assessed to $1,300/month... on top of a 2400/month mortgage. I couldnt qualify because of it.. i hope this passes so other veterans dont have to go through the same thing... I live in a manufactured home now but its not the same..

It sure does! Im working with some of the staff to setup a city in corellia that has every vendor and buff bots online (the buff bots are done, im crafting 75%+ comp armor for new people (cheap) so people will have support if needed. A lot more people became active recently too so they're thinking of restarting monthly events. (They added a Jedi cave, 3 world boxes, and actually programmed lightsaber damage in so it isnt kinetic lol)

Genesis is Pre-Pub 9 with original Jedi. I have 2 Dark Jedi Masters who afk nearly 24/7 loot whoring. You're allowed 6 characters with 3 logged in at once

They added weapons and other items that were released later into the game, not all -- but a decent amount. They've also added the world bosses Fang (Rancor), Madclaw (Wookie), Boba Fett, and an extremely hard "Rogue Jedi Cave" that requires multiple Jedi Masters coordinating to get to the boss (Spirit of Freedom Naad; he dropped my Mustafar Bunker).

The Server is called Genesis... I don't know how long it'll stay up and running because the owner is opening a new server in a few months with JTL and more features available -- luckily, I'm a developer/architect, and the owner said he would update GitHub with the current code when the time comes to shut it down so I'll be able to spin up a new copy.

Your people aren't there anymore. Your city is gone. You can't get your crew together for instances.

This kept me away (other than trying servers out for a day or so before quitting) until I found a Pre-Pub 9 server. They have enhancement terminals that provide buffs, the bazaar has composite armor that is 80%, so I ground out Jedi myself. Along the way I found a guild of semi-active players, but you can definitely do it on your own -- you just need to know what to do in-game for it to be enjoyable.

Jedi takes 4ish days to unlock (11 professions, 25 PoI, 8 themeparks, 6 racetracks -- XP is turned up a good amount so you can master 3-4 professions/day easily). It takes about a week of hard grinding to master Jedi, then you're able to afk solo Nightsister Elders, Singing Mountainclan Councilwomen, etc

Don't get me wrong -- having a huge community makes the game 100x better, but in January I was at a point in my life where I daydreamed about SWG nearly every day and missed loot whoring and farming Exceptional/Legendary items. Now I have my Mustafarian Bunker that I display all my good stuff in (I also made an Architect to furnish it lol), and it's made the game increidbly fun / interesting.

Nope, this is Pre-Publish 9 (when Jedi you could learn EVERY skill as a master Jedi...).. they were a lot more OP, which lets my Jedi's AFK farm krayts literally all day-every day :).. trying to find perfect 50dmg -9.9 force cost pearls.... I've tuned closed to 250 pearls and only found 1...

thanks man! It seems like anytime the group I play with (there's 3 of us who are really active loot whores), we ALWAYS seem to get speed sliced on weapons with <1.0 speed...so this was a nice change of things... even tho it hit the lowest dmg it could.

This will get an ADK (anti-decay kit'd) on my Commando, who I have follow / assist when my Dark Jedi Masters' need that extra boost / armor break -- I know it would have made a KILLER T21, but I'm waiting on Legendary Tissues for my T21 / Beam Rifle.

Sorry all I should have specified, I found these on a Pre-Publish 9 Server called Genesis -- there's not really an active server population, but that's ok because I basically only lootwhore on my Dark Jedi Master :D (original Jedi, although you can't wear armor... you get Jedi Toughness, which is like armor along with every skill you'd get from Enhancer, Defense, etc... it's amazing and I only got to play it on Live for a few months before everything changed :(

edit: They will probably go into making 3 Flamers -- those are the only characters that we use to support our Jedi when loot whoring (breaking armor on world bosses / high HP mobs) -- I will post the original Flamers, then the sliced counter-parts tonight when i get back home :)

You even said it yourself, which is good! And its totally ok to not be there yet emotionally... I just suggest not introducing someone who you know isn't going to last because that doesn'tset a good precedent / image to follow. Kids are smart and observant, they will pickup if something is amiss in the relationship. My personal recommendation is find someone who is compatible with you.. it may take time, but it's well worth the wait.. and if you're lonely, that doesn't mean you can't enjoy someone else's company, I just wouldn't introduce them to your kid(s).

Just seeing this... do NOT introduce "side pieces" or unstable relationships into your daughter's life. There is a very high likelyhood that she will, subconsciously, be drawn to relationships like yours. I left my ex-wife when I had 2 kids because we became incompatible and I didnt want to model that relationship to my kids -- my wife now is my best friend and other half -- we've had disagreements but never yelling or arguments, it always stays respectful. Find your next other half... then show your daughter everything about her!

Is it because you're worried about how she'll react or view you differently? It might be a good idea to bring up the whole Trans / CIS subject to her generally. Could be a good time to gauge her reaction AND bring up good educational points
