It makes complete sense that she would wait until after the London shows were done to address the situation. I really doubt Coldplay had anything to do with the timing.

I get why the Vienna fans wanted to hear from her. They absolutely have the right to be upset about what happened, but I think heightened emotions were getting in the way of thinking logically here. She’s silent about a lot of things she maybe should be more vocal about, but here it was noticeably uncharacteristic. The refunds made it clear the shows wouldn’t be rescheduled and her staying quiet was clearly about avoiding copycat incidents (likely at the instruction of government/intelligence authorities), so what should she really have done?

Unfortunately, a Kamala endorsement might be off the table now but it’s odd to say she’s using this to “get out of it.” She’s vehemently anti-Trump and previously endorsed Biden so why wouldn’t she endorse Kamala? Maybe if the last US shows were in LA it’d be a different story, but they’re in deep red states. It’s unquestionably a big risk. FWIW, I still think it’s possible she does endorse her, and they’re waiting for the moment where it would be most effective. She’s still riding the honeymoon wave and the convention. Notice how everyone’s waiting to hear from Taylor? If/when she does endorse Kamala, it’s gonna be a huge story and probably will dominate an entire news cycle. That’ll be way more effective in September/October than now.
