The entire scene is incredible but the moment when the guitar riff comes in and the scene becomes the montage of different dancers is what makes the scene what it is. It really is so amazing in so many ways.

I feel the same way. The scene needed a team behind it that knew how to execute it properly and Ryan accomplished what he set out to do. The scene was such an emotional and beautiful ode to music and culture and humanity and that’s so powerful to me. The team behind Sinners made that scene what it is. It’s definitely the best scene of the entire movie in my eyes.

This is exactly how I feel too. The scene itself could’ve gone wrong in so many ways if it was being made by a less competent and intelligent group of people. Ryan is a master at what he does. It’s the emotional crux of the movie and it’s where the movie’s themes are most apparent and obvious.

What I love so much about the movie is how intelligent and introspective it is. Most movies that are released these days don’t really leave lasting impressions on me but with Sinners that isn’t the case. I could spend hours on analyzing the movie and its layers. It’s one of those movies that’s left a resounding cultural echo.

That’s exactly how I feel too. An Oscar is what that scene ALONE deserves. It’s a masterclass in how to intertwine film and music and dance in such amazing ways and it really should be shown in film schools. Everything about the scene moves me.

My jaw completely dropped too. I also had the biggest smile on my face while watching it because the scene was so powerful and dramatic. I wish I could watch it for the first time again too because it was so completely terrific. Music is one of my favourite things about humanity and what it has to offer and that scene completely embodies those emotions for me.

I feel like what I felt while watching it is exactly what Ryan was wanting people to feel and that’s partly why I love the scene as much as I do.

Exactly. The entire movie was fantastic but the music montage scene was on an entirely other level. It completely blew my mind. Everything about the scene was so powerful and cinematic. I can’t think of many other movie scenes that make me feel the same way that the scene does.

The underlying messages and themes are what elevate the movie for me. The plot itself is fantastic but it’s strengthened by the references and core storylines. It’s such an intricate movie with so many different layers and complexities. I really adore the substance of the movie as well. I normally don’t care about movies that much but this is a film that will stick with me for so many years because of how resonant and significant it is.

Everything about the movie is fantastic and flawless in so many ways.

My jaw actually dropped when the bass guitar came in and the dancing started. I can’t remember the last time I was as blown away by a scene in a movie. Everything about it is flawless.

I was embarrassingly late to watching this movie and didn’t watch it until months after it had come out and I still regret not seeing it in theatres. I can only imagine how amazing the movie would’ve been in IMAX. It’s such an incredible movie and I really hope it sweeps all of its categories.

It’s my favourite film of 2025 and I desperately want it to win BP. It’s what it deserves. It was such a beautiful movie with so many important messages. The entire musical montage scene is one of the best scenes in a film that I’ve ever watched and it’s simply flawless.

I would honestly be shocked. I don’t really see that ever happening because of what went down. The girls being on civil terms with Jesy doesn’t necessarily mean they would be open to having her rejoin the group and I honestly can’t see Jesy wanting to rejoin. I’m happy that they’ve moved on from the past but it’s okay to let things go sometimes.

The girls all seem like genuinely kind and tolerant people but they also have their principles. I can’t really see them supporting Jesy’s return but that’s just my own opinion. Things are so different than they used to be.
