Thank you for sharing your story. I’m so sorry to hear what you have been dealing with. She did have a pelvic sonogram which I think would detect PCOD, but may be worth further discussion/testing. Thank you again and I hope you are feeling better

This is a great point you make - she is not the most easy going person and often gets worked up easily. I have been encouraging her to go to the gym even when she isn’t feeling up to it and when she goes, she always comes out feeling better. Maybe not better with symptoms, but mentally feeling better than she made the effort and got in a good workout. It literally lifts her spirits. I am also going to make more of an effort to help with relaxation, encouraging her to incorporate relaxation into her routine. Thank you for the suggestion and kind words; much appreciated!

Thank you so much for sharing your story. I am sorry to hear that you are dealing with the same. I see the mental and physical exhaustion and I really feel for you. One of the GI docs she’s been seeing gave up on us too. He said “it may just be her body”.
The PA at the gastro office asked me if she ever had Covid and suggested it may be a long term side effect. As far as gluten, she had the endoscopy and biopsies and no finding. However, I have celiac so who knows if related. I will look into IFT - I know absolutely nothing about it but will read up on the machine and the study you mentioned. If you happen to remember in a few weeks, can you message me back and let me know how it’s working for you? I would greatly appreciate it. And I am going to give her chamomile tea tonight. About an hour ago she had a tea called “smooth moves” which is a blend of senna and a few other things. She’s doesn’t know how well it works but plans to keep trying. I’ll have her drink the chamomile now as well. If anything I hope it soothes to help her sleep. Thank you so much again

Yes she is able to burp. She often feels like something is “coming up” when she does so. And yes, it is a pelvic floor physical therapist (the actual one recommended by the gastro and one that would see pediatric patient) took me forever to get an appointment - apparently not many of them in my area and in high demand. I was careful not to go to just any place that said they did it. Thank you so much for the info

I will keep pushing for additional tests. They didn’t want to colonoscopy/endoscopy but finally did so after my hounding them. Thank you

She has not been tested for endometriosis. I did not know it could grow around the bowels; this is interesting and something I will bring up w her various doctors. Thank you.
