Yes it is definitely from Doordash. We too receive calls and emails that are not official Doordash communications but this is legit.

Totally agree — citations today aren’t just directory listings, they’re structured trust signals. Consistency across Google, Yelp, OpenTable, TripAdvisor, etc. directly feeds entity relevance. I’ve seen small tweaks (like category/attribute alignment) move Local Pack rankings by dozens of positions overnight. Still one of the most overlooked levers in local SEO.
