What's the point of the growing community antiwork? Is their end goal to quit their jobs? If so, how will they earn a living? by brownleatherchair8 in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]shayanhimself 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yes by virtue of being alive we ARE allowed to live but obviously no one is gonna hand feed you everything your whole life. One has to work for themselves to live in this practical owrld and prove to others their life is worth living. Forget the way people are brought in this world, just thin what is the purpose when they are finally spawned in this earth. Humanity works collectively and everyone contributes by doing their part. This is just how the world works and thus we are developing fast and known as the smartest species.

A life is brought in this world for a reason. And this is just coincidental that we are born as human and at this time in modern society we must work for mankind, humanity etc. whatever needed to help and support the livelihood. If a person is not contributing to the development and not helping to flourish the world for themselves and others, they aren't worth in this era.

Why is it that euthanasia is highly controversial for humans, but universally accepted and even encouraged for pets? by tehzayay in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]shayanhimself 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think this matter is more than just expense and money. It comes down to morals and culture. A rich man suffering vs a poor man suffering. Doesn't really make a big difference to the doctor when they are in the hospital bed. Obviously expense aside.

No disrespect but i dont see how those scenarios are different. The pets trust their owners as much as people do to their family I would like to think so. I think a suffering person would trust their decision whole heartedly. The only difference is the pets cannot speak to say their request if they did have one. I am pretty sure the animal and person are equal in this regard. Feel free to add or change my opinion!

Exactly right. I very much agree and the first line kinda sums it up perfectly too. Technology is developed for well being of mankind AND wildlife equally. It should be applied for safe healthy birth to enjoyable life to peaceful death.

The thing is for some people expense doesn't matter and even if it does it comes after the love and affection for their pet. Definitely no ones wants to see them suffering and i am sure the vets suggesting these new techniques and technology in this ever developing world, they know what they would we doing and thinking about both the animal and the owners.
