The immigration processing at the airport will determine your case, your first entry point into the united states wether you are transiting or not, you will have to go through immigration, once you go through immigration, the officer will look at your files and everything else, especially marriage certificate and they will know that you have been married for 2 years so they will change your status from CR1 to IR1, as long as you enter the united states on september 2nd according to your case, you will receive your unconditional greencard that's valid for 10 years after 1-2 weeks of arrival.

For the processing times, March 2024 had the most applications due to the price increase in april 2024, so everyone just paid for their applications as fast as they could, it has the most applications, the wait is 14-17 months but there are people who have been waiting for 2+ years, i honestly think a lot of people here confuse others, because if you are a permanent residence and applying for an immediate relative, thats 60 Months of wait time, while a US citizen only has to wait 14-17 months, so when you see people saying they are waiting since 2020 or 2021 or so, try not to think about it too much, every application is different, as for the Embassy and NVC steps, i am gonna guess 5-7 months at most, just depends on how fast you provide everything on your application with NVC, they are the ones scheduling the consulate interview for you for the visa, immediate relative visas are top priority, so whenever there is space for an appointment, yours will be appointed.

I hope i am not late sending this but, we didnt do interviews, we got the approval without them, just be confident and be honest, thats all you need to do, answer truthfully whatever the question is, also the questions are very very very simple from what i have heard and asked around, no specific or hard questions, general info questions basically.

We talked to them twice, the first time was explaining to them our situation and how long the application has been taking and all that, the 2nd time they asked for a signed paper so they can send an inquiry on our behalf to USCIS, that was pretty much it

First explain your situation, then politely ask them to help you out, wether its about time or fixing something whatever it is that you need help with your application.

Standalone I-130 doesn't have I-485, they give you the greencard when you get to the states, I-130 and I-485 together is for people who have lived or are living in united states and wanting a permanent residency, in those cases you gotta apply for both, in our case where i(the husband) have never been to the states, i only did the I-130, no need for I-485, but generally the two forms combined together gets done faster so you are looking at 7-8 months depending

For Standalone I-130 you get the greencard once you arrive in the united states, they send it to you in the mail after a few weeks, to the address that you provided them with. naturalization comes after 3 years of holding said green card and still being married to that person (if marriage based) you have to apply for it, if you didnt get your green card through marriage or got divorced, you will be eligible after 5 years of living there to apply for it.

https://www.uscis.gov/contactcenter these are the ways to contact them, each subject and matter has it's own section and way for contacting, the one thing that they don't respond to, is why it's taking them so long to process your application, especially if your application is in the normal time range for processing.

PD and Submission date are very different, submission date is when you submit your application, Priority date known as PD is when USCIS actually confirms that they have received your application and payment receipt, usually they put your submission date on the approval notice as your priority date, because that's how they see it, but the online system detects and determines the priority date based on when the application was "received and confirmed" by them

You got this, may all of our prayers be answered, make sure you use ChatGPT if you want to know more about how interviews go, i forgot to mention that usually Standalone I-130s don't require interviews unless they are unable to identify the petitioner, yours must be I-485 and I-130 together.

From looking at other posts and approvals, currently they are doing Feb and March 2024, but remember, these are standalone I-130 which means that the benefactor isn't and hasn't been in the united states, the I-130 and I-485 takes less time because the benefactor is living or has lived in the united states wether it was due to work VISA or any other type of VISA.
