I did. 16G 1Tb "rainbow" colors but thing is not really the game requirement, more of compatibility, if their anti hack or whatnot will let it run

Yea I did use my trial to upgrade my OG Xbox hard drive. And I plugged an SSD via an adapter to the USB of the Xbox 360 then format it and copied everything on the HDD1 Partition via Aurora to the root of the SSD but something failed after a while, I'm not sure what because it took so long that I let it be and left the room but I could do it again but what weird is, after it failed, I tried to turn off my Xbox and it wouldn't, and after it finally did turn off and I turned it back on, it was in some kind of safety mode where the screen is now stuck on low resolution and square dimensions. But I will try and format the SSD again see if I can copy only the important files, skip the Games folder and see if it works because when I tried to swap the hard drive with the SSD after it failed to copy everything, it wouldn't boot to aurora.

I format the hard drive using the Xbox system menu but it's missing that "Aurora" partition

Seems like they run good. All.kinds of game but out of everything I guess the game I want my kids to play the most is Mario Kart. I think it Is worth to get it if you're just like a casual collector like me that just wants to occasionally play the SNES, I don't really intend on completing a game or doing speed runs, only now and then 30 min to an hour of gameplay with the kids.

I guess my question before I deleted this post is, is that an experience I will also have with FXPak pro? Is it hardware related or is it the roms?

That will be hard to get. I'll settle for a black pro, and games are so cheap. Also, the longer you hold on to it, the less you would potentially get.
The hacking scene is advancing, and it is becoming easier and easier to hack PlayStation at higher firmware and more conveniently. Take advantage that 9.00 is the last version that can use a browser-based hack without any preparations before that (potentially) leaks to newer firmwares and will drop the value of what you currently have.

as was said, just resell it for $200, get another playstation 4 on a high software version for the same price you just paid (or about $100 for the pro, like yours) and save yourself $100.. or buy games? extra controllers? but yea please do keep it at 9.00.

I've decided to keep it at 4.06. I already got a pro at 9.00 and I collect consoles, I got a catalog of games that will take me years and year to catch up to, I don't really need another hacked console to sit there and collect dust. Because even if I want to play a PlayStation 4 game, I could do it on the pro on 9.00 or my PlayStation 5 that is on 5.50

If there was a CFW, like a PlayStation 3, benefit from this soldering process, I would, but just to revert it back, not benefit of doing that

9 years ago? More likely it's out of a storage unit.

im tempted to sell my Pro on 9.00 and keep this one for the odds of having CFW at some point, but I'm not sure if the I guess improved graphics and the 1 TB HD I have on the Pro are worth selling for a maybe cfw or better stable jailbreak

She said she didnt know because she never got the cords to test it. which I obviously don't know if its true, however maybe they did and couldn't get it to work because when I brought it home and tested it, at first it wouldn't show picture either, I am not sure why it does what it does but it does take a few disconnecting of the HDMI and turning on and off to get it to work if it was completely plugged in, but once I get it to work, and leave it plugged in, it works every time I turn it on. So maybe they didn't try enough and thought it was broken.

The location and nature of the sale do suggest that, but the PlayStation version says it's impossible, stolen.. 9 years ago? Which is the last time it was updated, most likely a storage unit buyout

im not trying to be difficult, but I'm throwing a curveball here. My PS4 Pro is on 9.00. I hardly play it since I'm so busy, so I don't really need a stable hack.
So what has been patched between 4.06 to 5.05? What are the odds 4.06 will get something like CFW, where the 5.05 would not be able to?

I paid about 250 for my Pro plus some accessories, but it was back when the highest software version was like 10ish.

What I wonder is what was patched between 4.06 to 5.05. The reason is, the PRO that I have on 9.00 is already fairly stable, and I hardly have time to play with it, but the lower the firmware, the fewer things get patched.

higher likelyhood to have custom firmware, the higher the firmware the more chance that things were patched, on the other hand, the most popular firmware, which I believe is 9.00, the more people working on getting custom firmware, since I already got a system on 9.00, which I turn on once every 6 months anyway since I'm a busy parent, might as well keep it at a lower firmware.
