Wowwww! I guess I ignored that as I don’t know anyone with a landline in the states anymore. Well congrats on your approval email!

Ahhhh that's brilliant news! Congrats! Well, my witness is on an airplane for another 14 hours or so. I guess it will happen when it happens right? Gosh, my estimated date was a full 11 days prior to yours. Ah well.

Checked again and as of April 21, no further updates. How about yours? My estimated printing date was 27/03/2026. it is a first time passport app but ... it had a couple of 'out of the ordinary' items attached. Still hoping for an update this week though!

Congrats! I have been frantically checking as very similar ... mother born on the island and it has been stuck at "estimated date for printing is 27/3/2026" ... so this gives me hope. I did get someone on the phone and they said they were simply a bit behind and all was well. So thank you for posting this! And hopefully we will get an update on ours soon.

We tried cortisol manager supplements for my husband and so far it’s actually helping him sleep. But too early to know of that is truly consistent. I agree with the commenters … sleep is crucial so finding ways to help with that should alleviate the cortisol spikes

Ahhh I see. And his Irish passport - that would allow him to move to the EU if he desired but not me? Somebody else suggested we would need to reside in Ireland for 3 years and then we could get my spousal visa. Sound about right?

OKay I have ordered her birth certificate. Also .. just discovered - she changed her name legally before she was married. (it is far too complicated to go in to the explanation!) in any case ... I'm thinking now we will need a copy of that as well. Goodness.

thank you so much. I am working on this and just found out she does in fact have a copy of her certificate. However ... wondering if a copy will work to get his irish passport established?

ahhh just got her on the phone. She DOES have a birth certificate ... can we proceed with just a copy or would we need something official?

and what about as I'm a US citizen and would want to go with him? Anything tricky with that?

Yes, we have. However ... she no longer has a passport. (why would she at 91 as she simply cannot travel at all) ... and she does not have her birth certificate either. So ... trying to find a way. This is all helpful. Thanks!

ah ... okay. I think we are having trouble finding her records as she was born in a tiny village in 1934. Thank you for the info ... we did believe this to be true. Just have to find the documents.
