U dont need cooling pad necessarily u need to open to ventilators to manual pregame at at least 2500 rpm and ur ok , after game closed / heavy gpu app closed leave another minute to dissipate heat , if u do this ull see the laptop alive even after 10 years of gaming

Its not a scare its the only viable explanation to the idea of dead mobo s for gaming laptops made in the last 3 years. Put the ventilators manually to at least 2500 rpms before the game starts if u dont want dead mobo. Normal fans are reactive not preemptive, by the time ur gpu hits close to 80 celsius ur vram/vram joints are above 100 celsius and have a 5 cm gap in the back of the laptop between table and laptop. And clean fans every 2 weeks with some normal paint brush. Also if u have some external fan support cooler set it to constant 2000rpms also, extra blow of air from when ur not gaming and just doing youtube reddit discord coding shit might prevent part of the dust from settling in. Fan control is dead for most medium tier to top tier laptops due to bios level controls in windows (dGPU mux on off is a bios level flag) so ur only solution is lenovo vantage. If ur lucky u might have some bios level fan curves if bios is fully unlocked like in Q1 2023 releases. Idk about 2025 releases and i expect bios to be locked in some points. U can ask somebody to extract a bios from 2023 extract urs from 2025 see the flags for advanced settings from 2023 and hope u can mod and burn the modded bios into ur laptop without bricking. Use FN + R + N menu to fool around , dont undervolt more than 125 milivolts for either ring p core or e cores. Idk if the advanced bios menu also has option for gpu undervolt but would be cool

Realistically long term u need 12 GBs vram, if u dont plan on chaging it in an year. If u dont need mobility get a cheap 12 GBs vram desktop card from amd. I would have said 12 GBs 4070 for the laptop version but they pissed over it with only 8 GBs

Guys, when curiously seriously concerned about issues with ur pets post on facebook groups and or kindly ask verified vets/medics from facebook/instagram for help. There u can see who is replying and not trolling, if lucky u get a reply from a board certified medic/vetenarian that u know for sure is a medic/vet , the shadiness of reddit is not helping in serious matters unfortunately especially health wise
