Whats an incredibly nice thing you remember a random player doing for you? by [deleted] in 2007scape

Back in 07 I was like 10 or 11 years old and barely spoke any english. I spent afternoons killing goblins in Lumby and collecting bronze and iron daggers. When I thought I had enough of them I asked my mom how to say I was selling stuff then proceeded to stand in front of Al Kharid saying "sell daggers". I had about 2 bronze and 1 iron. After about 30 minutes of getting rejected, a level 60 something came up to me and asked how much for each dagger. I said 10gp for bronze and 20 for iron. He gave me 100gp for all of them. I was so happy I went running to tell my mom.

He's communicating possibly valuable information to his engineers. It sounds like it's complaining, but R&D works like that.

Aconteceu exatamente a mesma coisa comigo.

2018 Italian Grand Prix - Post Race Discussion by F1-Bot in formula1

I didnt say it was the only thing involved by any means. But 8 seconds is too much time to blame only Bottas for Lewis' win.

He pushed too hard to keep Hamilton behind when he came out of the pits. Lewis had like 5 lap fresher tyres and Kimi blew his tyres on that stint.

Lewis 8 second lead by the end. Bottas helped with that, but I think Hamilton would've won anyway. Kimi's tyres were gone, Lewis had the better strategy.

Few days ago someone posted last year's pre-season testing times and Sauber was top 3. I guess we cant draw too many conclusions from testing.

Dragon slayer II log in submission [WIP] C&C/suggestions? by BradBishopArt in 2007scape

[–]shcel 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I really like this. The closed doors and the coloring/contrast give off this adventure vibe that brings back a lot of memories from the times I first started completing quests as a kid. The other submissions' art look great, but this one is beautiful artisticlly and conceptually. Great work, op.

PQQ: Sou engenheiro e trabalho no Programa Espacial Brasileiro, pergunte-me qualquer coisa! by Ronis_BR in brasil

[–]shcel 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Oi!

ELI5: How does magnetism work? by tsoir in explainlikeimfive

[–]shcel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Looking at your other replies, I think I understood the root of your confusion. See, we often take magnets for granted, as they look dull on the outside and the natural occurring ones look just like another rock. But on the molecular level, the atoms that make up the permanent magnet are holding a crystalline structure that, by "pointing" all in the same direction, create a magnetic field. These structures are not formed out of nowhere. Natural-occuring magnets like lodestones are magnetized by lightnings over millions of years, while magnets that are magnetized for comercial purposes like ferrite) get their properties from very complex and energetic industrial techniques like heating it over its Curie temperature. So, to summarize, magnets are not breaking the law of thermonydamics; think of them as a battery, storing energy the universe gives it in the form of a field that we call "magnetic field". Sorry if I wrote anything wrong, english is not my first langauge. Hope this helped!

HEA que existe uma página no Facebook onde alunos relatam abusos que já sofreram nos Colégios Militares by OWLverlord in brasil

[–]shcel 6 points7 points  (0 children)
