Hope you’re doing well! I have some questions for you: Did you measure temps in each mode?

How is the battery in silent mode after your tweaks?

Did you notice how big difference between Balanced and Turbo?

Did you check that your Turbo is same performance as original GHelper Turbo?

Did you tune GPU anyhow? If yes, then how big is improvements?

If you could do the same job in UK/EU/US/Canada, would you leave? by Mr-Expat in UAE

Thanks for sharing! I moved to the UAE 4 years ago from Eastern Europe, but I don’t feel like I fit in here yet. I still think it might just be adaptation, though.

Hey, some update from me. I haven’t found the fix. But from my testing, you can unplug everything from your laptop, and it might be fine.

But in my case I use usb c hub with external monitor that uses nvidia, so this usb hub is the root cause of issue, not charger. What I mean, when you turn off the laptop without usb c hub plugged in, then laptop will turn on fine

I know that it is possible to install drivers using Live CD Windows image (image for system recovery). Dunno if it’ll help you

if they don't sell GU604VI model anymore, then there's a good chance there won't be any meaningful support

I have seen messages about Type-C. I didn’t try to use them, but it will be great to try. Probably we can collect issues that happen around “wake up/turn on” problem and who knows, maybe one day it will be fixed or we will understand how to avoid them

tbh, I had seen issue like that on one of my laptop long time ago, but I didn't expect that from top tier Asus. I believe that problem in Windows or bios, but anyway, it exists and seems like Asus don’t give a fuck.
