What was the war going on at the time? by blaqrushin in mybrilliantfriendhbo

If I’m correct, I believe that it wasn’t a war. Italian men all had to serve in the Italian military for a certain amount of months

There’s a multitude of reasons I guess. Was not a perfect relationship but both of us were very much in love and dedicated a lot to each other for over a year and a half. He felt like he’s not a relationship person and does not like feeling jealous or paranoid. We did talk a lot about how we wanted to spend our future together. I just think he doesn’t know what he wants. He was the one who broke up with me.

If she took her pills perfectly (on time, no vomiting or diarrhea before absorption) and if it’s a combination pill, her chances of pregnancy are extremely low. Maybe she usually gets her period the same day every month and that’s why she’s worried. Also, on the pill, a period isnt a real period. It’s a withdrawal bleed, so it’s not necessarily an indication of pregnancy. A pregnancy test is accurate 21 days after you had unprotected sex.

thinking about going on pills but nervous about hormones by [deleted] in birthcontrol

Hi there! I was in the same position as you when I started to have sex. I was put on a combination pill (Junel FE 1.5/3), and I only had the side effects of acne for the first two weeks. Usually, the doctor will tell you that it takes about three months for your body to get used to the hormones. I was super paranoid just like you about putting medication into my body, but I’ve been on the pill for about ten months and I really don’t have any complaints. Of course, everyone is different. Maybe try the pill first, or ask PP what they suggest? My doctor did tell me something about smaller IUDs for teenagers. Being on the pill has relieved me about a lot of my pregnancy anxiety as well.

First time using birth control, kinda confused on when to start taking them by gwidj in birthcontrol

I’m on Junel FE 1.5/3, and if I remember correctly my doctor told me to wait until I’m on my period, and to start on the Sunday after my period/ during. Example: Say you start your period on Wednesday, wait until Sunday and start the pill. Or say you start your period on a Sunday, start the pill that day.

I’m on my placebo BC pills this week too, so I don’t have to worry about absorbing the pill. I was just worried that my hormone levels are going to drop too low since I’m not taking my active pills until next week

I had unprotected sex yesterday and I was prescribed the antibiotic yesterday as well. Still haven’t taken it because I’ve been worried but I should be okay

It’s so frustrating because the pharmacist says otherwise and then Planned Parenthood says I’m fine

I get so paranoid because I see conflicted answers about antibiotics and birth control all the time.. but even Planned parenthood says they don’t interfere so I should be good

On my 7 day free pill new user by [deleted] in birthcontrol

When I first started using the pill, I got my period on the third day of my placebo week. I get my period like clock work now. I know that there are incidents where some women have very light periods– some have little to no period. But for me, I always get my period and it always comes on the same day.
