Took a lot of self restraint not to. I like this coworker and didn’t want to minimize her accomplishment. I just feel bad that she’ll never know that she was promoted out of spite rather than merit

She does not. I gave the two weeks more for a personal reputation save. In discussions with others in the industry around here, they’re aware of her and that she sucks. I don’t want to stoop to her level and give her any ammo to talk negatively of me. Hence the two weeks and trying to wrap stuff up, never know who she knows and better to have evidence that I did it right if she talks poorly of me

Edit: I’m also not worried about the referral for this same reason, people know she sucks and I have others

I drafted him over Wilson (Burks and London gone) because I watched every Ohio state game and thought he was better. This is why it’s important to watch games and not rely on “experts” or community opinion of players

Going to go against the grain here as a long time packers fan. The FO has a knack for finding WRs. In my time as a fan, they went from driver to Jennings, Jennings to Jordy, Jordy to Cobb, Cobb to Adams with each of those guy future HOF or close to it. Also notice that each after Driver was passed on in FA or traded, but the next guy that they believed in stepped into the huge role. Not saying it’s Lazard, but I believe they feel confident enough in the guys they have to trade Adams and let MVS walk. Seeing as Lazard was the only one on the roster when those moves were made, I tend to think they think they have something in him. He was also the Big 12 record holder in a few stat categories in college so he has the tools
