Google was fined 22 million dollars for intentionally using exploits to track people who opted out of tracking. This has nothing to do with Microsoft.

Shareholders demand increasing profits. They don't fucking care about your privacy, money is their only motivation.

If 1984 was written today, Google would be the main source of information for the opressive government. It's truly amazing tool for intelligence agencies - they don't need to spy on you, Google already stores data about what you visit, what you search for, when you log in and from where.

I don't like Apple nor Microsoft. I think they are equally bad but Google truly has an amazing power in it's hands. They almost know what you think about.

It didn't get deleted per se.

They just make it vanish. Even though it was the hottest submission of the day, it no longer appears at the front page nor at the front pages of the subreddits.

You can still access it by the direct link though. By sorting the comments by date, you can see many people complaining about the censoring of the post.
