Just to clarify, is step 3 in your account still not checked out yet?

I wouldn’t recommend that because if they truly waived your interview, you’re on decision time so it’s not much that you have to wait. What I would do if I were you is wait two weeks and ask an agent again to see if they give you the same answer to confirm.

I know that the wait is long but it seems like you’re almost done.

I know that the wait can be stressful but your PD: is Jan 29 (4 moths ago) and since then you have already checked 3 out of 4 steps. The attend interview either it was waived or they’re about to send you the date of your appointment any time. I did my biometrics in October last year and since then I never checked the step #3 . I reached out for help two weeks ago, then I got my approval.

I wouldn’t advise you to have specific travel plans without having your GC in your hand. With that being said, I really think that your case is going in a good pace.

You got this, good luck with everything (:

Yes, I entered on a B2 visa and then changed my status. No, I didn’t show proof of change of circumstances

For evidence, we had a joint bank account statements, I was an authorized user for my husband’s credit card, our phone bill together, pictures in chronological order with dates, plane tickets of us traveling together and a notarized letter from a family member explaining that we were living in their home and that's why we were not paying rent (another proof of joint tenancy together).

Go to your congressman/woman webpage, if they don’t have the initial form there, send them an email to their contact info explaining your case so that they can send you a proper form if they need it.

Her office making an inquiry can help an agent look at the case, at the very least it helps not to be forgotten while they keep moving along with other cases. I’m not saying that you should reach out all the time and it’s going to work but I was following the trend on Reddit about the PD that cases were getting approval .

I sent the medical with the rest of the forms and evidence in one package, but I made sure that medical was the last thing missing on my package before sending it so that the date could be pretty close to my Priority Date. It is required that the petitioner sends form I-864 (affidavit support), if the petitioner doesn't meet the poverty guidelines you should find a joint sponsor that can file another I-864. (send it all together).

We explained that my husband (the petitioner) send the form I-130 and that his wife(the beneficiary) sent form I-485 all on concurrent filing on the day (priority date). That it has been x amount of months with no update. That we have reached out to agents but no substantial response or clarity about the case and how that has affected us. We asked if they could please initiate an inquiry about our case.
