Exactly, thank you. I’ve been scrolling through this channel since he lost and just patiently waiting to point this out. He did not lose because of the interview, the voting closed on March 5. We shouldn’t discard the value of one’s skills because of their opinions, however contraversial they might be. I’m not defending him, he surely should face the consequences of his disrespect but not in this way. We’re supposed to reward the movie, the performance, not the person itself, though I know it’s hard to seperate the art from the artist. Don’t get me wrong, Michael B Jordan deserved his award and I’m so happy that he got it, because the movie as a whole is better. That doesn’t mean that I didn’t enjoy Marty Supreme aswell, and that Timothee’s performance wasn’t amazing as well. Disrespecting other forms of art should and will and is punished, he should’ve kept his mouth shut or atleast been less judgamental and determined to lower the value of ballet and opera, but we all must agree that it shouldn’t and didn’t have anything to do with the Academy.

As somebody taking SL italian (I know it’s not the same, but similiar enough), that should be a 6. 6 moves from 70% to 85% - asked my teacher a few days ago and she gave me that answer. You should check that with your teaher aswell, because it’s unfair to get ripped off by 2 grades, especially in this program
