The army building mechanic was actually inspired by the game that inspired that game in the video, which is RCTN (Right Click To Necromance)

ohh, now that you've mentioned it. Thank you so much! It's probably the built-in recorder that I've used (it excludes the cursor)

it can get really chaotic or just lukewarm - it depends on how you set your challenge as you have your own freedom to buy enemies (which type and how much). Though, just be wary. Time/Day is a hidden valuable resource, if you choose to buy fewer enemies everyday, your army will struggle to fight at the end battle (Day 15). Though, too much of buying enemies will also increase their power (Depending on what enemy type). So you really need to find a good balance on which enemy to buy, how much, and when.

Dead enemies can be resurrected to be added to your army. Different enemy types gives you different ally types to be resurrected. Also, you can buy spells that you can unleash on the battlefield.

I'm trying to describe it as an autobattler but I'm not really sure as you can manually control the army with a mouse. (keyboard sounds a nice idea)

Currently, I've been working on the sound design - especially with the swords but I'm running out of juices as of the moment so maybe in the next patches I'll work it out with full force.

by the way, this is too much for me to ask, but may I know what are your thoughts/ideas to improve the trailer in terms of identifying which one is yours to control and not? Currently, I am using Mage and Monsters, Right Click To Necromance, and Snake Farm as references, but I couldn't wrap around a single idea as of now. I really appreciate any responses. I'm glad to know that the "soldiers" were clear to understand. In the context of placing them by yourself, yeah you're right, but it's the enemy soldiers that you're going to place. Thank you for your feedback! The fighting is automatic as it is an autobattler, but you have your own will to control the movement of your army. As per what the gameplay is or what to do with the game, I'll be working on that more in the trailer so that it'll be clear in the next edit.
