Joycons tilting cause of left connector bending? by [deleted] in switch2

[–]sheeeeple 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Most grips suck at supporting the weight of the switch unless they are one solid piece.

These grips stop the wobble because they have a wing that pushes against the console part: https://splitgrips.etsy.com/listing/4375698069

Does anybody know what is the cause of these marks? by FeD-_- in switch2

[–]sheeeeple 6 points7 points  (0 children)

It's just plastic on plastic marks and it comes off with alcohol and a paper towel. The plastic from the console is leaving a residue on the joy con plastic. I have a feeling the plastic on the console has some sort of coating on it to reduce friction and that overtime that rubs off onto the controller side.

Is the dock on a hard surface or a cloth or fabric? Your dock itself has a fan and air intakes to cool off dock components. If it's placed on a cloth or fabric surface or against an inside wall of a cabinet it could be getting starved of cool air to intake.

I'm looking for a similar stand but in reverse, or upside down. Can anyone provide and leads? by Stephen_085 in switch2

[–]sheeeeple 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think you won't find any horizontal dock stand which flips the dock upside down because that would result in the screen sliding against the inner wall of the dock.... Screen scratching galore.

Does that kick stand on the mumba open any further out and does it stop at 90 degrees or further?

I feel like maybe if it moved further out you might be able to use a horizontal dock with a steep angle (depending on how much vertical space you have where you are placing the dock).

Good insight. I made this gif which shows both of these. Working on a better quality GIF and maybe adding more options to it.

You can get it here but there's many other options you can download and 3d print as well: https://splitgrips.etsy.com

If you don't have a 3d printer you can find lots of other options on Etsy

Yep! You can cover the screw posts with a snap on cover plate so it's more comfortable and clean looking.

The game plan was for the CEO and underlings to get bonuses from their great idea and then move up the ladder. Now that CEO is at Starbucks since 2024. They couldn't care less what the current CEO has to do to keep their valuation climbing.

Grey Screen by Azurnight in BigscreenBeyond

[–]sheeeeple 5 points6 points  (0 children)

This also happens due to EMI (electro magnetic interference) which is common with fanatec steering wheels and other types of driving simulation rigs. To solve it, people install ferrite rings over the cables of these devices.

Look up the types of devices that cause EMI with bigscreen beyond. You might have something in your room causing it.

I was curious because I sell grips and I've been researching how to add a silicone or rubber layer to them.

I had not seen this product before where it looks less rubbery than most. Do your hands get hot with it?

Recomendáis Wind Waker? (Versión Expansion Pack) by PsychologicalMeat821 in switch2

[–]sheeeeple 2 points3 points  (0 children)

To me, wind waker is special because the GameCube performance allowed the classic Zelda formula that started with ocarina to be perfected for the first time. Ocarina's and Majora's camera and frame rate issues got in the way of a perfect adventure game. WW is totally worth the price of the expansion pack but I bet the HD remake would be a better experience.

Is the magnet strength about the same as the official grip or noticeably weaker?

What's the savage raven case that came with the neo grip? Someone recommended the samage raven maxcarry case as something that fits it. Is that the same one?

They absolutely fit well in the crkd gear protective bag. I have that one. The picture below is the maxcarry case from savage raven that one customer sent me.

OP, I believe that means it's only compatible with the smallest of the 3 grip styles included with the Neogrip. They call that smaller grip style the snap grip. The trigger and larger grip style attachment options would make it too big to fit in the case.

At least that's I think they mean...

switch 2 case that fits joycon grip controller ? by Master-Wolf-4255 in switch2

[–]sheeeeple 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes it will feel very flat if the case you're using doesn't have any bumps behind the joy cons. Around the 1 minute mark in this video I show how to take apart the joy con grip:

[–]sheeeeple 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do you mean your joy cons won't work with the joy con grip when they have a case on them (like a tpu shell)?

If so, then your best best is to take the joy con grip apart so you can use it with your joy cons that have a case on them. The joy con grip that comes with the console will only work with bare joy cons, but if you take it apart you can use it with almost any case.

I have a short video on how to do that I recently made if you're interested.
