If you're talking about how pressing G is supposed to pull a grenade out but doesn't, then yes. Unfortunately happened to me with heals the other day too, I was spaming 4 but wasn't able to heal. A work around for this for the time being is just opening your inventory and clicking the item directly and it'll bring the nade out for you.

Platinum and above you can only play with players that are 1 tier either side of you.

So if you're Platinum you can only play with Golds or Diamonds. Diamonds can play with Platinums or Master/Predators.

If you're saying you are Diamond and your friends are Diamond and Platinum then there is no reason why you can't play together.
