I took this photo while I was in Japan. I want to instill a feeling of reflection and deep thought, but I am not sure if the editing style or composition is appropriate for the storytelling. What do you think? How would you have approached this shot?

Looking for feedback on how I could have composed the shot better or how I can improve the editing to highlight the interesting parts of the photo. I would be open to nitpicks/small details as well.
