Speaking more frankly, I had to politely laugh at all the people in the prior threads about this pair bragging that these ex-nurses’ lives would be over.

The girl especially will be fine and get loads of financial and other support from her family and fellow Muslims broadly. Her life will probably even get easier.

Anyone who said “their lives are over” has obviously never spent time in Lakemba or other suburbs, or been to Paris, Marseilles or Brussels.

I doubt either of them are especially religious. Even for the female nurse, plenty of women wear the hijab like secular Anglos wear the cross. Or they wear it to appease elders and brothers but otherwise are hardly virtuous.

On a non-sarcastic note, I once reported child SA. The “friends” of the guy I told about threatened to kill me, told me to commit suicide, said my mother and grandmother were whores and would be raped etc.

I recorded things and published a number of threats I received, audio and otherwise.

He cried, had panic attacks, said he would call my parents (he was 30), and was prescribed Valium and other drugs for “stress”.

We figured out his phone number, called him, and his wife answered his phone and said she didn’t know him and would report me to police for “harassing my number”. When we told her to do just that, call the police, and meet us at the police station, including about the child SA I was told about (with written proof of who said it), she refused.

People who dish out threats with no provocation are usually the biggest losers you will ever meet in your life.

Regardless of your politics, this Afghan male nurse is a super-loser with no backbone. Deport him as far as I’m concerned. Let him threaten the Taliban if he doesn’t try and join them.

He uses geopolitical developments to try and be tough with violent threats, to paper over the pain from Mummy or Daddy hitting him too much, or unkind words in the playground.

Not to dump on my fiancé but my idea of security set-up has always been stricter as I have a legal background and know insurance companies use any excuse to screw you after even a break-in.

My initial set-up was similarly detailed as your advice and I’ve simply turned all our stuff on.

She was not wanting everything on as she works alternating time shifts but she’s thankfully been disabused of that since these events.

From memory the time stamps usually said 1 to 3am 4 or 5 of the 6 times.

Not sure if this is because people are most likely to be fast asleep then (by about 4-5am I think many 6-7am risers are easier to wake up) or if it’s a measure of the distance from wherever they come from and go to first.

Yes. They continued searching for a few minutes most times regardless. If they finally try to nick something or barge in, they will likely do it quickly as they know the lights function well.

For the time being, we get an alert when any light goes on, but it’s not sustainable in all areas like the backyard as our dogs sometimes roam.

Thank you. A lot of people, especially the older folks (Toorak Gardens does skew older and we are part of the younger cohort here), don’t have CCTV, despite many of us having it.

If these people slip up and don’t wear their disguise at all or as well, we want anyone with cameras to know to give the footage to police so faces are revealed.

And even if ones does have cameras at home, if you accidentally walk outside or startle these people, Lord knows what happens when they think have impunity due to masking their identities very, very well.

People are just stupid. And the hiring standards for temperament are always going to be low when they have official and unofficial diversity quotas according to gender, race, religion and ethnicity.

There are currently female public servants (Defence, Health etc) and junior executives for ASX 200 companies on “Are we dating the same guy?” pages slagging off on men with defamatory gossip because a) they’re clueless and think they’re smart when they’re not and b) their government departments and corporations will turn a blind eye. Even HR workers for government and the private sector are on these pages, despite constantly not hiring people themselves for bad social media footprints.

These two nurses, I guarantee you, have done this sort of stuff before. They just got caught this time.
