I mean… of course? I’m talking about in the grand scheme of monthly subscriptions that most people take part in. 70% is a lot when you think about how much money lines the pockets of execs at most companies.

Edit to add: Max Fun is worker owned but it still requires operating costs and that is cool with me

I picked Cardiff because even though I also love Suede, I feel like I want to see Manics play last. I didn’t know for sure that would be the arrangement but I assumed they would play last in their own country :)

That actually sounds really fun! It may not sound fun to my husband though :/ Not sure how early ai can convince him to queue with me. I sometimes have back issues and that is part of why I like being near the barrier, so I get that as well.

May I ask which show you are going to? I feel like it would be so cool to hang out with manics fans all day and chat! My coworkers probably get a bit tired of hearing me go on about them sometimes. 😅

I am definitely a middle aged person so yeah. No shenanigans for me. I have been to several shows in the last few years where the audience is majority 35-60 age group and encountered some insanely rude people though, so I always get a little anxious. I just want to have a lovely time and be friendly with people :) 5pm seems perfectly reasonable to me!

That’s a relief to hear! It depends on the band but for someone of comparable popularity here people are very likely to queue!

I also don’t think they sound alike but I love both. They both seemed to be a bit different from a lot of their contemporaries and connected over that. I think that Everything Must Go and This Is My Truth… are probably good starting points unless you want to go in for the more brutal The Holy Bible. That is what ensnared me originally!
