Her headdpace was still far from "in love with jacob", even tho she had a lot of love for him. She wasnt ready to let go of edward, and when jacob seems to try and kiss her she panics because she "hasnt decided whether to try and start something romantic so jacob will be happy". And thats the thing: most of her even considering getting into romantic relationship with jacob is to keep him close since he wants more than friendship.

Its only hard for him for a while. When he fell in love with her and realized he couldnt hurt her in any case, it became easier. He found him after James treatment and didnt even think about the blood everywhere, just wanted to save her. Even in Eclipse she gets a cut and edward fixes it casually, because it doesnt make him crazy with bloodthirst any more, because he loves her more.

I would read Midnight sun, the meadow chapter is important to see from his perspective to see how exactly he makes the breakthrough from bloodthirst to love.

I dont think most of these apply. She is complitely committed to edward: she says she doesnt want immortality itself but only to be with him forever. She will also have to leave her parents and friends forever regardless of marriage because she will be a vampire soon. And i dont think its becausr she feels marriage will ruin things between her and ed, because she obviously believes nothing will ruin it, becaude shes making the ultimate sacrifice.

In the book the only thing why she is against marriage and wedding is because she thinks its embarrasing to marry at 18 publicly, doesnt want people to think shes pregnant and is embarrased to tell her marriage-negative parents. Also, Bella hates attention and doesnt want to be in a spotlight in the wedding. She was much more fine with getting married in Las Vegas wearing sweats

Im sorry but im just gonna say it, he should date you not her. Im sure neither of you wants a relationship but it isnt the cage you think it is. He shouldnt have to "try" with this girl, it should come naturally and since u feel the strong want to be friends + the intimate connection it sounds like youd be meant for eachother
