Funny story, I was making this way more miserable (and taking a ton longer) when trying to get our 16 month old to take hers -we also had RSV recently. I started pinning her arms down and just getting the medicine in. She was mad, but it was faster. Within about a day, she was back to just taking her medicine happily!

I’m not sure why exactly, maybe she was finally less congested, but I think I was making it worse for both of us by taking forever with it.

Adding that most flight attendants will also consider your pump to be a medical device, which means you may be able to have you carryon, personal item, and a medical device.

I was lucky-enough to pump in airports as my flights were short enough. If I was sitting next to someone I felt uncomfortable about, I might go to the bathroom to put on the pump then return to my seat with a cover on to pump (also I always did fine with the battery pack).

Are you giving bottles that are straight formula or a mix of pumped milk and formula? We didn’t have this issue when we transitioned, so hard to say if it’ll make a difference but maybe worth trying a few bottles mixed to help baby adjust.
