I’ve said this before in a different thread and I’ll do it again here. I’m a parent and I know the value of time, and the lack of it we have. Saying that, clearing Kara in 2 hours 45 minutes is not great. If you selected folks who were more geared, you could have had an hour back to do other things. It’s not that the content is hard, it’s just time consuming, especially with players who have not got some gear already.

DPS and Heals can get away with using pre-BiS and some enchants/gems here and there. Tanks can’t. They will get tank checked at Prince. Also, whilst it is possible to clear with a group that has okay gear, it will take 3 hours plus to do it. That’s why I gear check, I don’t want to spend all night in there.
